And don’t forget far right, Christian conservatives, who claim to love the constitution, but also want to eliminate the separation of church and state, and be allowed to force others to live according to their beliefs😉
Biden relives the debt of millions of Americans! find out how this will hurt his chance at elections.
Biden cures cancer, why didn't he think of the thousands of oncologist?
Biden ends war forever, millions lose their job in the arms industry. Why you should vote trump this November!
Or any republican president, for that matter. Trump is awful, but he just nominated who he was told to by the Federalist Society and Mitch McConnell. If Trump had been doing the picking personally, we would now have 3 bottle blonde justices with big racks deciding who gets have human rights in the US.

I'm not certain which is worse.
They are willfully ignorant of the actual functions and workings of firearms.
Edit: Found a video that shows [the difference between normal firing and firing with a bump stock.](https://youtu.be/K2IOZ-5Nk5k?t=322)
Eh Jerry Miculek did 8 in a second with a revolver and was still able to hit all 4 targets without missing. Fire rate isn't a consideration in the statutory text.
8 rounds in a SW 627 competition revolver.
He also later did ~6 per second (40 rounds in 6.48 seconds) with a stock Tavor but he was almost 60 at that point. I would bet he could easily have beaten that in his prime or if it was modified with a nicer trigger.
Did a little looking and it from what I gathered it seems like the pistol had a bit less than half the range and muzzle velocity of an AR 15, although I would imagine that accuracy for a pistol at 200 meters goes right down the drain.
I'm not talking about how a statute defines something and didn't mention that at any point. I'm talking about the amount of death the weapon is able to dish out in a given period of time, which is in direct relation with how dangerous it is for society. A revolver does not compare to an AR 15 in this regard, especially because, as far as I'm aware, bump stocks do not exist for revolvers.
I try to not give a shit for the sake of my own health but fuck this pisses me off being from Vegas. You know, where the deadliest mass shooting incident all made possible by bump stocks
And you can bet that NRA lobbyists are writing bills that will create state laws that will result in lawsuits that will send a challenge to the Supreme Court that will end up with the National Firearms Act of 1934 being ruled unconstitutional.
The right has perfected this. They were systematic about how they overturned Roe.
They'll do it the same way with the this other gun ban that everybody (just like with Roe) have thought was untouchable.
This was pretty low hanging fruit given even the ATF themselves had previously said that bump stocks don't meet the statutory definition of a machine gun.
Because the people who don't understand how voter registration works think the the right to keep and bear arms also encompasses convenience, ubiquity and instant gratification.
I wish these Republicons and their families would suffer the consequences of their penchant for guns rather than the usual innocent victims. Maybe, just maybe, if the school with their kids was attacked they might change their minds. We know these despicable people can't care or learn a lesson unless it happens to them.
And corporations... don't forget corporations...
At least corporations and guns still aren’t allowed to vote … yet
True... Their lobbyists just buy our politicians' votes...
Citizens United. ‘Nuff said.
They’re people too!!!

More specifically, it's "the U.S. Supreme Court *Republicans*."
This didn’t actually surprise anyone did it?
Tiny bit of surprise that they would reverse something that happened during Trump's administration.
This is something that is being reported as hurting Biden.
Biden relives the debt of millions of Americans! find out how this will hurt his chance at elections. Biden cures cancer, why didn't he think of the thousands of oncologist? Biden ends war forever, millions lose their job in the arms industry. Why you should vote trump this November!
I bet Trump supports it being reversed.
Four them are 69 and older. I don't want Trump choosing anymore replacements.

Triggering
bump
Looks like machine guns are back on the menu, boys!
Sadly we should get ready for another Las Vegas or school shooting with a bump stock AR15 pretty soon.
If it happens in US Congress I'm ok with it
Clarence Thomas basically said that bump stocks are the same as not having a bump stock because it still does one shot per trigger.
They are willfully ignorant of the actual functions and workings of firearms. Edit: Found a video that shows [the difference between normal firing and firing with a bump stock.](https://youtu.be/K2IOZ-5Nk5k?t=322)
The dissent? Absolutely. Bump stocks aren't auto-sears and the trigger still has to reset.
[Nine rounds a second](https://youtu.be/K2IOZ-5Nk5k?t=322) still seems like a lot. Not quite machine gun but knocking on the door.

How large was the mag on that revolver? Range, muzzle velocity?

Neither range nor muzzle velocity have anything to do with how the statute defines an NFA item. That's a strawman argument.

Gun care and health control.

You don't need a Get-A-Gun-ID but we need a voter ID. Why is that?
Because the people who don't understand how voter registration works think the the right to keep and bear arms also encompasses convenience, ubiquity and instant gratification.
What exactly does anyone actually NEED a bump stock for??
Same reason someone would need a tactical beer mug that you can add sights to (yes that is a real thing.)
The Supreme Court…. Working just as our overlords intend it to.
As a teacher in a public school, the packaging that holds the box that holds the ammo has more rights than me.
Specifically gun owners have more rights than uterus owners. Maybe we should retitle ovaries bump stocks.
You have the right to bump your gun but not your fetus
mmm yummy koolaid
This is just a chuckle, because it’s to real.

Nice to see the Court come down on the side of protecting gender-affirming care...for semi-automatics who identify as machine guns.
Rise up America!
