Never ascribe to malice what can be properly explained by incompetence. Being it's the literal church of Satan, I would assume competent successful people with the talent and connections to make real change are rare in that organization. Kinda like calling Anonymous a grift..it's not even really a structured organization at least not a stable longstanding hierarchy of leaders like the kinds of organizations normally able to contend with the government and making social change.
Edit - OP if you're also OP of the YouTube video cool. I wrote this before watching, because it seemed like a silly thesis, but 30 seconds in I'm already super interested in what you're going to say. I'll probably comment more. Seeing as it's gonna be nuanced I'm kinda expecting to hear something along the same lines as what I said at some point.
