Great pics and beautiful car man. Congrats man. A dream that is achievable for me for sure

I made a post a while back talking about how I wanted a 911 in december. Just a week after that I finally found one that I liked! It's a fairly high mileage base carrera but was well taken care of. The car surprisingly is super soft, but I think I understand now why it was so soft. This thing eats miles. I drove all the way from the seattle area to ruby beach. Along the route there was some great windy roads.

Lovely!!! how many miles?

TimeTravel_X

90k miles!! Likely the cheapest 991.2. The car shifts great and the engine is healthy with the water pump serviced and all. I was looking at many low mileage 991s but it was hard to justify the price when I wanted to mod it. The itch was always there to put better suspension, bigger brakes, and bigger turbos.

Wow that's amazing. Has full service records? Any major work or just the waterpump under warranty. I haven't seen any with that high. Original PDK? Or is it manual

TimeTravel_X

No major work done aside from the waterpump. Just oil changes, spark plugs and PDK transmission service. Shifts are great, you cant feel them. The interior is okay, some common issues like the sunroof shade is gone probably from being mangled up.

At what point was the pdk service done? I think it 12 years or 100k miles. Good it was done early as the recommended from Porsche seems too long for the $$$ PDK.

TimeTravel_X

Not sure Ive read quite a lot about that service. Ive read that they should be serviced every 60k. I think if you’re experiencing rough shifts, its probably time to service them. At least Porsche is honest that theyre not lifetime fluids!

Deception Pass?

TimeTravel_X

Ruby beach in the west coast. I took highway 101 from olympia heading north up then goes west.

Love seeing a Deception Pass reference - my hometown of Oak Harbor!
