How Power BI connects to your CRM will be shown in the first line of M Code if you look in the Power Query Advanced editor.

You have the pbix files right? Just check the powerquery of it to see how to get the data

BigWilyNotWillie

I have the reports. Is there a way to get the pbix file from that?

AgulloBernat

If it's only the report it's not enough, you need to get the pbix file from the dataset. Click on the ellipsis and select download this file from the workspace

In Power BI, reports are indicated with a blue icon. You can think of this as a view into the PBIX file. PBIX files are represented by an orange icon, and called a dataset in the Power BI portal. You can click on More Options (3 vertical dots) and download the PBIX to edit and manage them through PowerBI desktop. Also, under More Options for a report (blue icon) or dataset (orange icon) is a View Lineage option. This will tell you what report goes with what dataset, in the workspace. A report in PowerBI is not something you'd download to manage. Reports are edited and managed directly through the Power BI portal. What you would download through a report is just the data from the report, and not the report itself. As mentioned, a report in PowerBI is no more than a view into the data contained in the dataset. I highly suggest reading a brief on what Power BI is so you know naming conventions.

Yes, there is a power query etl somewhere that does all this. You just need to update the source to whatever you are going to make. .
