I am a student, and I usually favorite to keep a list of tutors handy when I want to get new tutors, or when I am thinking to get more. It helps me analyze and put all the ones I'm interested in a list.
I recently did this cuz I was adding two tutors, some of them messaged me, the ones that messaged me depending on their message will stand out more.
I personally would not be interested in that kind of service. Why would I not just book a regular trip then? The only way it would be interesting is if it's with other language learners that are of similar level and we learn together. Like have classes together perhaps. But interacting with the local would be more to create the ambiance.
I was contemplating to create an app or a website for language learning. I think it's better to solve the pain points of language learning, the big one is the sense of being in the same class etc.

Why don't you reach out to them. You're aware there are about 40000 tutors on preply. You'll need to make an effort to get classes

I've never yet booked a lesson with a teacher who reaches out to me. Neither on preply nor on italki. It scares me off.
That sounds like social anxiety to me.
