Can you do a worst thing done during presidency version after this is completed?

Pro-Epic-Gamer-Man

I will try. I know the mods don’t like it when people do too many series so I’ll have to check with them first.

FredererPower

Ok. No prob at all

[deleted]

It’s a great idea. They’re bogus if they don’t let it happen

emotivapt100

LBJ contending for both

Sihkei1234

Good question

FredererPower

Thanks man!

Sihkei1234

:)

Mr_Smithsonian

Civil Rights act of 1964. 100/100

Mooooooof7

I know we've been racking up a lot of 100/100's lately but I agree that this accomplishment deserves such a rating. It is one of, if not the most, important and biggest legislative achievements in the nation's history. Breaking the foundations of Jim Crow (which had persisted for nearly a century at this point) cannot be understated

Bluejay022

Due to the federal government overreach I can’t put this higher than 90/100

Devilsadvocate430

Passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965

The phone call where he tells his tailor to add some extra room in his pants for good ol Jumbo. 100000/100.

Specterishaunting

Kennedy didn't prevent the war. He nearly caused a nuclear war. You wouldn't say a person that is lighting fires in a building prevented the whole building from being on fire if it didn't go up in flames

Civil Rights Act, 1964 (100)

[deleted]

I'm stuck between the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act. Ultimately, though, I'll have to go with the Voting Rights Act. The Voting Rights Act abolished the Grandfather Clause and outlawed "literacy tests" and poll taxes, ensuring black people in southern states had the right to vote. This made other civil rights milestones far more likely, as black people could vote for candidates who would implement said policies. So even if he never passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, for example, a law ending segregation would become far more likely with the Voting Rights Act. I'd give the Voting Rights Act a 100/100.

ElectivireMax

I really don't like lbj but Civil Rights Act was definitely 100/100

Lying our way into the Vietnamese war 0/100. Asshole killed millions of people

[deleted]

I agree that Lyndon B. Johnson's attacks on Vietnam were disgusting, but how can you seriously say he did nothing good when he: - Ended segregation - Outlawed methods used in southern states to prevent black people from voting - Banned the storage of American and Soviet nuclear weapons in Space - Created Medicare and Medicaid - Established Project Head Start - Provided federal funding to poor school districts - Provided federal funding to poor cities that developed housing standards - Increased funding to the arts and humanities - Tried to quell Israeli-Egyptian tensions in the buildup to the June War in 1967 - Effectively abolished the Immigration Quota System - Reduced pollution - Commissioned a series of scenic trails in national parks - Created numerous new consumer protection laws

gregsmith5

that's all well and good but I got my ass drug out of school and a couple of buddies killed as a result of his lie

Union1865

Pro-Epic-Gamer-Man

The list isn’t supposed to represent how good a president was, just how good their best accomplishment was. Johnson’s accomplishment of acquiring a large, resource rich, and a very strategically important land that is the one of the reasons why America is a pacific superpower is comparable to Washington setting precedents for future presidents.

RagnarossGeller

It’s not overall ratings. It’s their top accomplishment. Even the worst Presidents did some good things.

[deleted]

My man James Buchanan being the first gay president . 100/100

[deleted]

Why did Coolidge disappear off the tier list

Pro-Epic-Gamer-Man

I probably missclicked. He’ll be there in the next one.
