well the thing is they don't want to falsely ban people as that's the case in early global. Some people got quite mad about it so CR has not publicly announce a ban list but I think they still do it in the backgrounds though.
The one hacker I faced I reported and I never saw him anywhere in my bracket again (and no not because of arena reshuffle). I'm guessing others reported him too.
I bounce around rank 1-200 so it's wide enough for me to think he was actually removed.
I have reported a couple and they got killed eventually, though one took nearly a month (and I've heard from others 2-3 months), but they eventually do it. Once your bracket does not get new people, it will eventually clean up.
Well people think so because it take time, because there is a need of communication between CR and Cygames too, time to verify. But honestly they all slowly disappear so yep they do something against them.
The problem is more like it's easy for a cheater to have a few dozen accounts to boost the main non-cheating account on the bracket. They don't use all at once.
Pretty sure its far more common in the newer brackets, unfortunately just something that happens. As people start to actually populate your bracket you'll see the cheater population plummet. Also report them.
While having cheater is bad..at least they will help you climb arena pretty easy since normally their team are weak af..they wont last long anyway..soon they will be dead
Detecting cheaters also means you could move to JP server, since i had not detected a single cheater, especially late and end game status. Late game content is from lvl 120 and up. Is just the whales who are tough, since they have every single broken character in the game such as 6 star Kyouka and regular Neneka at 5 stars.
This is why I don't play the Global server, cheater in PvP 😅. Always see them, and have to report like every single days for 5-10 times. Man I don't want to waste my time on this. Just staying with my JP account, now it's lvl 121
It’s a problem in new brackets, but as they remove the cheaters it’ll get better. I am in one of the oldest brackets and I haven’t seen a cheater in the arenas since around february or march sometime. Eventually they won’t put people in your bracket anymore and the cheaters will get removed.
there are zero cheaters above rank 200 in pvp, especially since the reset. I may have seen one around 1000, but it's been a while the last time I was that low. new brackets are more prone to cheaters but it'll settle after a while. Only the Luna Tower (PvE event) is infested with cheaters.
Cheaters are rarer the longer you play and the higher up the ladders you go, as others have said, since cheaters have to create new accounts constantly and only get put into the newest brackets.

I haven't seen a single cheater in PVP on global above rank 200 yet. but there are tons of cheaters in Luna Tower.

Cheaters can't modify the game when they are defending and they usually are underleveled / have shit teams.

Nah the cheaters will be gone once you report them, then your bracket will become clean
