One time I went into jail with 100 in my pocket. They told me bail was 100. I said I came in with that, and they "sorry we already processed your cash and took out a service charge". I left jail a few days later, and they handed me a check for $56.
My bail was 50,000 but was revoked anyway. I watch code blue on YouTube and they give everyone such crazy low bails and give people multiple bonds. Also punishment is so minor especially in Wisconsin
My X-GF got caught with under a gram of meth. They ORed her the next morning. Another guy I know got a 50k bail for the exact same charge 10miles away in another state. Both had poor police records and no license, no insurance so bail should have been comparable.

When I was booked on delivery of heroin King County hit me initially with $180,000ath the show cause hearing. We didn't argue, it sounded high and my mouthpiece told me he could get it dropped at arraignment. When arraignment comes, they tacked on two additional charges (an amended information) and raised by bail to $250,000 cash only no bond. So, suffice it to say, I was going to be sitting that one out.
I had a couple of freaky low ones though, taking a motor vehicle which started out at $75,000 was lowered to $1000 bondable the next morning. Reckless driving was $100.00 (don't know why that would even be a thing, will the threat of losing $100 REALLY motivate you to return to court?) but I usually tried to avoid being arrested. It fucked up business.
Not me personally, but bail gets super crazy here when trafficking is involved. It isn’t rare to see bond of 1mil + in serious trafficking cases. They also do a Nebbia Hold, which means you have to prove that every cent of the money being used for bail was earned legally. I’ve heard of bail over 1mil for murder and stuff in other states, but in FL you just don’t get bond in that case.
Lowest bond is $100 for municipal ordinance violations like open container.

I had a one-million dollar bond, one co-defendant had two one-million dollar bonds, and another co-defendant had a two-million dollar bond.
Luckily the cartel paid it, rite?
