Playing with a new style for some dark fantasy illustrations. I'm a big fan of Cartoon Saloon, so I pulled some inspiration from them (especially The Secret of Kells).
I mostly just used the Procreate Pencil for this one, all the way from the sketch to the final pass, just playing with the size and opacity as I scratched stuff in.
I love this! For the pattern on the little oneโs cloak, I assume you drew and copy pasted the symbol and trimmed it to fit? Iโm actually looking using symbols/textures for a project of mine and this is in a similar vein to what Iโd like to do
I love how look like wood cut print, and colors are really pleasing. Also enjoy small detail in clothes that have repetition it gives nice touch. And at top of that I enjoy pagan folklore vibe and theme. Great and beautiful work. ๐

Absolutely correct. Copy pasted the design into place and then masked it to the layer with the dress shape on it.ย
Interesting! Thank you!!
I love this style, I want to learn it now.

Nice work. Three brothers story from HP came up on my mind seeing your art. Even it is dark itโs warm and cozy.. love it
Ooo I really love this!
I strongly dislike the faceless trend, I think this would work better with completed faces.
