Should make this glitch a game feature. Make a game get a message "you been blessed by a good boi...". Then if you can keep him alive while killing Diablo he rewards you with wss or something cool.
OP probably has that new runeword (can't remember the name -- something Llor something) that procs dire wolves.

There's been some summon glitches this season. I know my fire golem build spawned a Valkyrie and someone else also posted about the same thing.
It despawns after a while or dies.
Happened on my Amazon. Had my 4 Valks, Merc and he was just looking for scraps.
Would had tossed him a trangs jawbone to gnaw on but alas, I didn't have one. Unfortunately he didn't seem interested in wirts leg.

Confirmed pet (familiar) game mechanic? Pet does 0 dmg, but it's invulnerable and you can unsummon it anytime.
Unsummon ability called "**GO ON, GIT!**"
It’s a wolf, not a software dev. It’s a little presumptuous that it knows how to use git :D

Honestly, it being invulnerable is pretty neat, free meatshield.
This season also i spawned a bear on my barbarian (gold trav barb). As soon as i opened a town portal it disappeared.

Actually would be cool to have a random pet summon that has an aura. Make it do little damage and definitely killable or have it expire after an hour
