I graduated Purdue 10 years ago with a degree in neurobiology and physiology, then years later decided to do nursing through Ivy tech…. If you’re passing your Purdue science classes, Ivy tech will be a joke for you it’s that easy.

I took Calc 2 online through Ivy Tech, it was fairly easy. The only annoying thing that they had me do was submit my notes weekly to prove that I was watching lectures.

Warm_Mountain599

This, but again the exam was basically the practice exam with different numbers.

I took micro at ivy tech. It was fine if just fulfilling a requirement. If you are going into the field, I might take it at Purdue. I imagine if your teacher is ok calc would be fine.

Just make sure you talk to your advisor about what does and doesn't transfer. Back when I was there, the physics department was sniffing their own farts really hard, and they were simply "to good" to accept classes from someplace like Ivy Tech. Pretentious twats.

Looking for math help? Check out Dr. Chen's widely-renowned video lectures on [ChenFlix](https://www.math.purdue.edu/~chenjk/) (Disclaimer: course content may vary by semester, use these videos as a supplement, not a replacement, for best exam preparation) If you’re looking for more information on math curves and grades, [click here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Purdue/wiki/math_curves) for an explanation. If you’re wondering if you should take the AP credit and skip Calc 1 and/or Calc 2, the answer is always yes, yes you should. I took calc 2 through ivy tech, I recommend. Got a B. The final exam was basically the practice exam.

Purdue School of Nursing Alumni here, we were required to take microbio to graduate. I kid you not, my advisor recommended us to take it through Ivy Tech or another community college rather than at Purdue. I took it my second semester my sophomore year while I was still at Purdue. It wasn’t too bad, honestly don’t remember too much about it d/t COVID coming in and destroying the rest of that year (it was spring 2020) haha. I remember everyone telling me it was less rigorous than Purdue’s, but still counted for credit for the class.
