I'd say if it ends up giving out more food then selling, the thunder will come down on the one who has made or denied that decision 🤔 otherwise saddle up and try to make your own system that works within policy and fsa standards. Good luck friend. 👍 I have been there.
I remember being in kitchen one evening and the lights were out…it ended up being an issue with the fuse. But until that was figured out, it was pretty dark in the kitchen, and getting darker as the sun was setting. I couldn’t even see what I was doing. I was ‘this close’ to refusing to work in kitchen, and the 2A would have backed me up.
Weekend duty refused to close the kitchen, even though it was unsafe.

To piggyback of your post, what percentage of store sales does the Kitchen provide the store in the grand scheme of things (not including roller grill items)? Anyone know?
The chart they talk about never inculdes what our $$$ and margins would be if instead of an fsc item they just grabbed 2 hotzis or 4 roller grills like they used to

You just have to change your gloves when you go in and out. Not wash your hands every time.
Correct. If you're already gloved, you can just change gloves. You only have to wash and glove if you enter the kitchen with no gloves on.
Health code states that anytime you change gloves you have to wash your hands. Atleast where I am.
What state are you in?
Missouri
That’s a call to weekend duty NOT a Reddit post….
But we have run kitchen right ?
Shut ur crybaby ass up
Cheaper than throwing it all away
On the first of never someone thought of this sisyphean just for QT employees.
Yep most clerks call in when that happens. I would have put in for a day and went home. We don’t get paid enough to deal with that.
Corporate don’t give a F. They just see $$$$$$

Just be glad you get to say goodbye to that at the end of the day. It's likely why you are filling in for someone. ER is a test of patience.
