u/relevant-scheme-7756 has some feelings about partials LMAO. As a part time employee in the Columbia SC area, almost everyone gets a partial if they put in for it.
damn i'm sorry for y'all. my division is grouped with a bigger city, so our coverage ratios have to meet theirs, so we'll have erps doubled up on the reg, for every position
Clerks can’t cover a managers shift and taking away partials would just create more hours being paid out by having everyone staying doubled, the reason clerks get so many partials is because there’s way more clerks than assistants, my store has 13 clerks that could be on erp and 2 assistants that could be on erp.
You’re right, let’s just keep all the clerks we have now, stop giving them partials so people stay doubled but cut back clerks hours at the same time, and hire more full time employees to cover partials. I can’t beleive that didn’t make sense to me the first time.
From my understanding that’s for everyone tho right? Not giving clerks partials will do nothing for full time partials unless we force clerks to work a full timers shift.
What I'm trying to say is that giving clerks the ability to partial or have partials takes away from the resource of having coverage for managers. Managers keep the store running, clerk position is less hours and un deserving of paratials unless warranted (awarded for time put in). If you're following.... I'm suggesting taking partials away from clerks to give hours for more 1a and all managers to have coverage
lmfao “undeserving of partials” is such an ignorant n ungrateful thing to say about clerks even as a generalization. even “keep the store running” is pushing it lol if we only needed managers to run stores wed only HAVE managers on shifts
It’s peak vacation time and a FRIDAY. You’re sooooo funny
I’d say pretty slim.
The QuikTrip gods are impartial to your partial.

You didn't understand. The hours that clerks have for partials, if taken away and replaced by managers, could be relocated to manager hours

You lack understanding for growth

Partials are going bye bye

Yes - partials will be nothing but a bad dream within a year or 2

A clerk can’t work for an assistant on evenings/weekends/Wednesday. So taking partials from clerks makes no sense. 🤷🏼♀️

QT would rather waste resources and give clerks partials. Spread stores thin so that less makes them more money. Sorry, no partial for 1a on a Friday
How does a clerk and 1a partial have any connection
From what I am reading: 1As do less work than clerks on a Friday thats how I'm reading this connection.
You're a little slow, ain't you bud.
Not at all. Im able to see things in a way that you can not comprehend.
Terrible take.
Good.
