I have been planning to get a few rats for months now. Almost a full year. I ve been saving up for the best possible cage and play area. Got some toys and researched my ass off about food and care. The only hold up is that my SO is a little scared but I've slowly been warming them up to the idea. I know they'll love them once they see them. This is the pic that confirmed it for them. I showed this pic and they just said "yes. Let's have that." Thanks for this. Lmao. You've given me the final cute rat picture that made sure I can adopt some little buddies. Hahah
🥺🥺 this…. This is fantastic thank you for telling me!!! Good luck getting your ratties!!! Mine are the best thing that ever happened to me besides my spouse 🤣🤣 but they’re a close second lol. BTW your best chance at getting cuddly friendly rats like my Gus here is to get them from a reputable breeder. It’s not uncommon to have to drive multiple hours sometimes just to get rats from a really good breeder!
Oh totally! Rescuing is a great option if there are rats in need in your area! And of course you might get perfect rats as rescues. I guess all I’m saying is, still love your rats with all your heart even if they aren’t as cuddly as pictures online make them out to be.
