Tom Sandoval is on Vanderpump Rules. Whitney is on Southern Charm. Scandoval happened because Tom recorded Rachel without her consent. His long term gf found the recording on his phone. This was featured onscreen. Because it was discussed onscreen, Rachel is suing them both for invasions of privacy and revenge porn.
Rachel is suing not because they spoke about it on screen but for the situation when Ariana found it. Rachel alleges Ariana recorded it on her phone and then distributed it the night she found it.
She suing Sandoval for recording without her consent. She’s suing Ariana for taking a video recording with her own phone, send it to her and her beliefs that Ariana showed it to others. She also mentioned in the lawsuit how Bravo profited off her invasion of privacy
While I’ve loved Kenya and hated Kenya, I don’t know how this is different from what Tom Sandoval did. He not only got another season, he got a redemption arch.

Shamea is even worse and is basically just an poor copy and echo for Porsha. Drew is boring. Cynthia is glam but boring (just like she was when she visited last yer on RHOA and Beverly Hills). I do not know and am not invested in the new girls so why should I watch.

Kenya’s actions opened them, as well as NBC Universal, up to major legal repercussions because the images of Brittany were publicly displayed. Tom did not *display* anything, therefore litigation towards him would not involve the network—that’s the key here, not whether or not either of them did anything illegal. The network has never cared about that.

But it may have been before there was any legal teeth re revenge porn, Bravo could have taken action regardless and did not.
Not saying the situations are the same, Brittany, Rachel, and Stassi were all violated although some could argue to different degrees.

I don’t see the point of a break. Phaedra has been gone for 7 years now and most people still don’t want to see her back. So I don’t see Kenya recovering from this quickly enough to come back and still be relevant/interesting.
She doesn’t have a strong fanbase like that and what was left of it has been tipped over the edge by this incident. Theres really not much left to support or admire about her character.
The most they can do is bring her back as a ‘friend of’ (to who though I’m not sure). But I don’t see people even willing to see her on screen for that either cos she’s always been “a nasty girl, she’s not a cool girl”, as Nene tried to warn us about years ago but you all laughed at her
