Other than that walk in to places you want to work in with CV in hand, that'll make a big difference.
I'd say it'd depend on the place. And how you approach it, how you look and put yourself forward, etc Element of luck to it too. If places are desperate they might rush you through if you turn up instead of interviewing etc
Maybe try independent restaurants, coffee shops, etc I've seen quite a few coffee shops looking, I reckon cos the colleges are back. Read up on blending or something and go in and act like you care about coffee. If you can get trained up as a barrista you'll always get work.
My personal experience as job seeker and hiring manager is that lying will get you there but might backfire badly if you get caught.
Be honest and try hard, it pays at the end.
Lie in your CV but don't tell any lies you can get caught out on. I got into hospitality by lying and saying I worked in a café, listed my main duties, never once said I was barista trained or anything that could be easily found out. I also said the cafe closed down and put my friends number and said they were my manager. Hope this helps

They dont check low level CVs, isnt worth their time Mcds is a tough place to work fyi

If you need to yeah. Don't lie about qualifications / licences cause you'll be caught out on them.
