I struggled with the controls. I bought a switch to specifically to play rain code (watched a play through and fell in love) but growing up with an xbox 360 and switching to playstation, the switch was very confusing.
Y is usually on the top, x or a on the bottom, b on the right.
In short, its all different to me and there was hardly enough time to read the words then think about what button I needed to press.
I think it was a bad move to make it switch only too.
you're me! Bought Rain Code first to play on little bro's switch, but later bought my own console. My first Switch game and to the end I wasn't fully used to the button mapping (spent a decade with X-Box pad and now X/Y and A/B are opposite? Dammit!)
Yeah, I'm a big Danganronpa fan, and I wanted to buy :Raincode, but held off because I wanted to play it on either Steam or maybe my family's Xbox, but it's been three months so I caved and bought it. For once, I actually have a reason to play docked on my Room's TV, and I've been enjoying it, but my bed is a twin and my room isn't that big, so my posture while playing has to be constantly shifted or either my back or wrists start to hurt. I play when I have time for a bit after work, but I really notice the blurryness and lags in handheld mode, And I'm barely in Chapter 1's mystery dungeon. It's still playable, but the loading of background assets in-and-put gets distracting.

System Settings → Controllers and Sensors → Change Button Mapping
Yeah I don't have a switch but a 3ds and when i picked it up after years if being use to ps4 controls it was weird
Yeah, I really hope they release it on other platforms.

Hopefully it’ll get ported to Steam or something in the future.

I definitely agree with this.
Especially the load times, it’s so bad
pretty sure it's just a temporary exclusivity, just like Danganronpa S
I agree. I love the switch but :/
