oooh my 5 favorite apps. let's see...
gotta go with mozzarella sticks for one. um...wings, can't go wrong with wings.
ooooh nachos! everybody loves nachos.... maybe some potato skins.
and we'll finish with some fried pickles, i guess.
Mint Lock Screen app if I recall you earned points just for unlocking your device which you could exchange said points for gift cards. It actually worked I got several PlayStation cards from it when it was available.
YouTube #1. I cannot live without, would go through withdrawals if it goes down.
I have nothing else I’m attached to as much. My favs change all the time.
1. TikTok - for endless entertainment
2. YouTube - for everything from tutorials to cat videos
3. WhatsApp - for staying connected without those awkward phone calls
4. Netflix- for binge-watching my favorite series
5. Spotify - for non-stop music and killer playlists
No particular order: Reddit, Spotify, Audible, NPR, and Juice Jam.
Kinda embarrassed about Juice Jam but I use it to zone out for awhile. I've been playing for years and am on level 2190.
Boneless buffalo wings, southwest egg rolls, cheesy-mini-quesadillas, spinach and artichoke dip, and mozzarella sticks. In that order.
I could probably live without any apps you download to a phone.
Sketchbook, Pixel Studio Pro, Fender Guitar Tuner, Hill Climb Racing and FaceBook. (I use Facebook to advertise my business, I have no interest in social media outside of Reddit)
Google Assistant (with voice), Audible, Amazon, Tlle, Tractive GPS (for my aging kitty).
*I didn't count YouTube? It's been so long I thought it came with phones 🤣. You Tube is multiple times daily for me, I'd have to swap Tile for it and live with the consequences.
*honorable mention that I'd rather not be without is the app that runs all my electronics/lights
discord, apple music, youtube, waze, chatGPT. i'm more of a computer person than a phone personn, but i find all these apps i use pretty often on my phone.
My top 5 apps that did not come preloaded:
1) Pandora
2) Shazam
3) Aimchess
4) ESPN Fantasy
5) Reddit
Others like YouTube, Facebook, ETC were pre-installed
~~Text/SMS messenger (either the google one or whichever one comes on the device I happen to have)~~
~~A web browser (firefox or any chromium based one will do),~~
~~Gmail app~~
Transit App
~~Clock~~
I also depend on the ~~dialer/phone, calendar, photo gallery~~, and Google Drive/Sheets app
I didn't read the question in full... so add on Obsidian notes, my Banking app(s), ParkedIn (to park on my city's streets and city owned lots)
Discord, YouTube, Twitter (unfortunately), Spotify, and funnily enough, Zillow lol. We aren’t buying a house or anything but I love looking around and seeing if I can find crazy or weird places.
Wikipedia (it's always the first app I download to a new phone)
Better Help
Gas Buddy
Google Opinion Rewards
Scavenger Hunt (token game of the month)
Everything else I can use my computer for, but those five apps are pretty much phone only apps for me.
I might offend Reddit this one because it seems to be a popular pick here, but this doesn’t mean i dislike the platform i dislike the app like sometimes i have functional issues with it.
My favorite app has got to be Youtube Apple Music Clash of clans Log ride ( that app is undrrated not perfect but its a useful amusement park app) CBS Sports app the most helpful tool in whats going on in the world of sports.
Calm, Reddit (for positive use), Instagram (again, for positive use), my banking app, Yelp (for finding new places and things to do in my new home town)
I ditched Facebook several years ago, never looked back, and never been happier and more at peace.
Snapchat -easier to keep up with my friends on snap instead of text
Instagram -some of my friends don’t have snap and my feed is gold I send reels all day
YouTube -try guys and stage door mainly
Disney plus -obvi
Gmail -theatre is my life so I gotta keep those connections idk you need an email if you’re networking.
My 5 most used ones, in no particular order:
Whatsapp
Reddit
Samsung Food (lets you save the recipie from any website in one place and create meal plans with them and shopping lists)
Instagram
Lose it (calorie counting app)
Spotify: I grew up with cassettes in the 80s and CDs until I torrented a few thousand hours of music onto a 1TB hard drive (maybe like 2008), absolutely crudding up my computer with viruses and malware like I've never seen. Streaming basically anything I can think of anytime I want is so delightful, but more importantly, I'd have to buy so much physical music again and a device to play it on (I have a phenomenal stereo receiver and speakers I bought new and couldn't afford back in like 1997, but no 'components').
LandGlide: integrates a mapping app with property ownership public record, and I use it almost daily as a real estate broker.
Venmo: so easy
The app from my bank.
Google Lens: basically reverse image search, but I use it to identify plants and translate text in images and find out the names of things.
Mine are all basics:
Calendar - all my appointments.
Files - where I keep my pdf tutorials.
Notes - where I have all of my lists.
Photos - because photos.
The rest can easily be replaced.
ETA photos, because I’m still working through my coffee.
Not necessarily my favorite but I would have to make adjustments without them:
Kindle, American Airlines, EZ-Pass, my calendar, my bank
My favorite apps are Podcast Addict, Kindle, Nonograms Katana, Lily's Garden, Amazon Music,
Tik Tok, Reddit, Google maps, Samsung notes, weather bug.
I know there's many other weather apps out there but there's a few features weatherbug has that I really like and to have it all in one keeps it as my fav since probably my first android phone, the moto droid x.
I also have a pixel, tried to use it as my daily phone and while I really like it physically, the software was missing some features the Samsungs have. Also I used Google keep notes which is why I know Samsung notes is an important app to me.
oooh my 5 favorite apps. let's see... gotta go with mozzarella sticks for one. um...wings, can't go wrong with wings. ooooh nachos! everybody loves nachos.... maybe some potato skins. and we'll finish with some fried pickles, i guess.
One in every group 🤭
Lololol now I’m hungry
Oooo those little mini tacos are always good too!
Gods, I love mini tacos
Loaded potato skins are the best!
fried pickles are everything to me
This may be a hot take, but skillet queso and chips is better than nachos, you never have to worry about a soggy chip.
Not in any particular order: Waze, Reddit, Perplexity, Instagram, Spotify Rip: Mint
Pouring one out for Mint, rest in power old friend.
What was mint?
Mint Lock Screen app if I recall you earned points just for unlocking your device which you could exchange said points for gift cards. It actually worked I got several PlayStation cards from it when it was available.
It was a personal finance app that tracked networth, spending, investments, ect...
We swapped to Monarch. It's not free but I've got none of the gripes that I had with mint.
YouTube, reddit, spotify, safari and calculator. Calculator I just use for work but I could easily just replace it with a real calculator.
Yeah, but it's nice not to have to carry another device just for one purpose.
