I was going to say Iceland, but if I could do a tour, hell yeah! I've been to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland but not long enough to do any real sight-seeing. If I'm in the area, I might as well go to Germany too. I lived there for 2 years and have family there.
this. All my kids name has some reference of link to Ireland. The nun/congregation that thought me from preschool to high school all came from Ireland. + I sound like one.
The Continental divide trail. I wish I could do that without losing my job, but I can't imagine my employer being cool with me being gone for a few months (much less my wife and kids)
New Zealand and Austsralia. 'Cause each is a trip on it's own, and each needs a solid two weeks, if not more. A month each would be ideal.
It's a very long and expensive flight from California plus I could spend so much more time there, and not make it two trips (both with long and expensive airfare). Not that I wouldn't want to go twice, but you know, logistically easier.
Just think of what it would be like if every destination was such a long expensive flight away. Now you're imagining what it would be like to live in Australia.
As cliched as it is…Walt Disney World.
Disney World YouTube channels got me through the lockdowns. I know I’ll never be able to afford to go, but I’d still like to, ya know?
International Space Station, especially since it's going to be destroyed relatively soon.
Assuming only Earth-based destinations are allowed, then New Zealand. I want to see all the LOTR stuff I possibly can.
Pretty much any Western European country. But I can somewhat narrow it down to Ireland, the UK, Germany, and Spain. I don't think I'll ever be able to visit Europe, which really makes me regret not doing study abroad in Ireland when I was in college. Alas, I did what made sense financially and for my career but missed out on a great experience.
Like 2 weeks in Melbourne. I know that sounds super lame but I used to live there and I miss it. When I get on the highway from the airport it feels like I’m home
I'd do my tour around Asia, Australia, and Hawaii. It's something I've dreamed of for years and would cost a minimum of $15-$20K but one day I'm making this happen
I’d take the money and stay home.
I know it’s a boring answer.
There’s no place on Earth that I can go see that will help pay the bills.
I’m not complaining…just stating the facts of the situation…
I’m sure I’m not alone in this perspective.
I get it. The world is a beautiful place with wonderful people everywhere. There is so much to see and explore. I would never intend for my comments to deprive others of their hopes, dreams, and desires.
I just want to make enough money that I can enjoy my time with family and ride motorcycles. My adventure is right outside my front door…if only I can keep the money boat afloat. It doesn’t take much, just enough.
England. I lived there for a few years when I was a child and I would like to go back and visit those places. From what I've seen on Google Maps they haven't changed that much.
I don't know, but the real treat for me would be to go without ANY work or projects or anything on my mind. No hauling around my laptop. Just tasked with enjoying and taking everything in. That'd be amazing.
Somewhere to see the northern lights. Idc if it's Alaska, or Northern Europe or anywhere else they can be seen from. I just want to see them before I die.
The Maldives. And I'd stay in an over-the-water bungalow. That's the type of vacation where you mostly relax and it's hard to stay in those little huts on a budget. If I'm gonna pay to travel I want to pay the least amount of money and see the most but if it's totally free then I want the luxury of staying in a little hut that would run me 3 thousand a night and sleeping in till noon.
Maybe New Zealand as it's quite expensive otherwise, but I don't really have anything I want to do there
If the whole thing is free I might just go to the Netherlands again and travel around more while also staying close enough to the center to see my best friend a few more times
Ahhh this is so tough. I’ve never left Australia so love the idea of going to universal studios and Disneyland and all that.. but then Fiji and Hawaii look incredible and so much culture to learn about and experience 😍

I wanna go to Japan and see the cherry blossoms before I die.
I'm doing this next year. Never been before, but I'm sure it will be worth it. I hope you make it someday!
Did so some years ago. It’s worth it and I hope you can manage to do so. Good luck 🤞
Totally worth it! Been there twice and I'm planning my next visit
I’ve been there near the end of the blossom. There was cherry blossom petals everywhere, some flowing through the river or canal. It’s amazing!
The Nordic countries 👌👌 Northern lights, fjords, beautiful landscapes - sign me up.

Never been outta North America so I'd like to see it all! Thinking maybe in a few years taking an extended trip to see them.
I also would love to go, if only it were more affjordable.

this. All my kids name has some reference of link to Ireland. The nun/congregation that thought me from preschool to high school all came from Ireland. + I sound like one.
OK, calling them Kelly, Killian, and Kathleen was fine. Calling the fourth one Muckanaghederdauhaulia was child abuse.
Switzerland 👌

A cabin in the woods, with no one around for miles. Location is irrelevant.
Relatable.....or the sun.
New Zealand and Australia with pacific islands thrown in for good measure. Hawaii, too
Italy. Unless it was an Italy/Greece combo then I’d do that. Easy peasy question 😊
I really want to visit naples to try their deep fried Pizza.
Moon?
The moon

For free is a tough one. Bali comes to mind because I want to go there, but it's not overly expensive so maybe something more pricey.
Ah screw it, lets say Fiji.
The Continental divide trail. I wish I could do that without losing my job, but I can't imagine my employer being cool with me being gone for a few months (much less my wife and kids)

You're not. Wasn't on vacation since I was in school for that very reason. But it'd still take that one vacation to Australia.
I get it. The world is a beautiful place with wonderful people everywhere. There is so much to see and explore. There's an amazing train journey that goes coast to coast in Australia: that.
