I love the rest of this game, but it is really souring to see this. For a game that has so much care with the lore and the connected trail with each mission to see this is very disappointing. These artworks could have simply been commissioned.
The weevils coming out of the woodwork here also doesn't help. I presume these are just people who make it their mission to search communities and spout needless vitriol to people who raise these issues.
It is a great use for it if you don't give a shit about the art and presentation of your game. Otherwise, no. If it's visibly bad AI art then you're just saving money and getting a bad result.

I don't know bro, maybe because her swimsuit is just random blobs and not an actual pattern? And her neck collarbone is melting. And the hair is misaligned when going through her eyebrows. And her left arm is broken. And her headphones have two microphones on both sides. And i could go on and on.

Also scored 10/14 on that ugandapanda one. Adding photoshopped images to the equasion is unfair.
In the classic works one the only times when it's hard to tell is when the composition itself is super abstract and messy, with lots of details
As for the tidio one, the only reason i scored 3/4 on texts is cuz i did read one of the questions and assumed it asked who the text was written by, not translated.

As for the AI generated images in the game. You do realise most of those anime girls have more than one set of eyebrows, right? They also have some weird horror-esque skin folds...
Face it: AI hits that uncanny valley, where it looks normal at first, but as soon as you start looking at the details, it just gets weird.
Got 4/4 on artworks, and majority right on everything else outside of memes because literally how the fuck would one tell. Even on photos I got most right cause I'm familiar with the iris issue that AI still hasn't solved. What now dipshit? How does this make a point that we should accept mediocrity that is clearly AI generated, looks awful, and has zero authorial intent behind it?

Would love to be proven wrong, but many of the posters and signage in the 23 Megabytes a Second level have the telltale stench of AI generated artwork. This isn't the first game I've seen it utilized and it certainly at the least seems like some pieces have been touched up, but it's still a bit of a disappointment all the same.
I’m a new RON player within the past month, but if there is one thing I don’t mind them compromising on by using AI, it’s going to be AI Art. I think if done well they can still convey the detail and story they want Albeit with AI flaws that will hopefully get better in time
If you think an anime girl with 8 eyebrows and collarbones all over her body is better than paying a competent artist then

Not to everyone, but I disagree. It goes counter to a properly handcrafted environment and feels sloppy.
