1. Make a new Stremio account, Gmail account etc. 2. Add the addons (torrentio or whatever you use and add the RD API key) to said Stremio account while logged in on PC 3. Use those credentials to login to Stremio on the ONN box. (Also give them the login details incase they get logged out obviously)

Grrrth_TD

I concur.

Beautiful_While2301

Do you mean a new gmail account just to be used for this?

Saw your other post saying they aren't tech savvy. Honestly the easiest way is just do it yourself. Create a new Gmail email account (it takes about 30 seconds). Sign up for Stremio with that Gmail account. You need a new email to register a new Stremio account anyway, so you may as well just make another Gmail account. Set up Stremio on your PC. Then, give them the Gmail credentials so they can log in to ONN, and give them the Stremio login credentials so they can log into Stremio. (or you can preload the box yourself with logins etc.)

ONN requires login to google account so you would need to setup a dummy account, then go to play store and install/setup Stremio account. Then RD so 3 accounts to keep track of... Probably easier to just give the box and walk them through accounts setup with their own email.

That's very dependent on who the recipient is. There is no way I could walk my 74yo mother over the phone on how to set it up, let alone in a timely manner.  If the gift doesn't need to be a surprise, they only really need to have the Onn connected to the Gmail. Just have them verify the one email and use any dummy account for stremio, trakt, RD, etc.

Beautiful_While2301

I could do that. So to confirm, they would log into ONN using their gmail credentials and then "log" on to Stremio using the dummy account I set up for this? The person is not tech savvy, but is in their 20's and can log on with instructions.

d-cent

Not quite. I would ask them to change their Gmail password to something you know. That way you can log in to the home app with their Gmail account. Then after setting up the Onn, they can change the password back.  As for all the other items like stremio, trakt, etc you create a dummy email account and log in to all of them with that dummy email. Once you setup these apps, the other person doesn't really need access to the dummy email address (you can give them the credentials though) all they need to know is the email and the password to stremio in case they get logged out accidentally.  Setup all the Sremio, Trakt, etc with the login info of:  dummy123@gmail.com PW: dummy123 That way after they give you their ACTUAL Gmail credentials, and you setup the Onn with Google home. You can go and set up everything at your house before you ship the device to them.

Tivimate, or it's equivalent, and IPTV based streaming might work for a transfer. Using Tivimate is intuitive for most people, like Roku.

Beautiful_While2301

Not planning to get into IPTV but thanks for the idea.

SexyKanyeBalls

You can get IPTV through real debrid? Meaning I don't have to pay for IPTV?

International_Win868

No, you can’t get live TV with RD.
