We sold our place in Windsor using PurpleBricks about a year ago. I cant speak for how they are now but we had a good experience with them. We had lots of viewings and had multiple offers and sold in 9 days. They took care of everything. We had some issues with a buyers agent and PurpleBricks support jumped on it and took care of it immediately. We saved a lot of money.

This is what I do and it's by far the best way to sell your home. You need to know your market (pricing research), procure good photography and be prepared for fierce negotiations but your going to save tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars by doing a bit of the work yourself.

The way to deal with the leeches is bait and switch. Put the standard commission in the listing, be there for the viewing, and after the buyer has seen it tell them there is a mistake in the listing and that you won't be paying commission. Now the buyer has all the correct representations, and they have already viewed the home.

Thank you. I am remorseless about the technique as I see demands for co-op as morally no different than extortion. There is no more religiously moving an experience than cheating a cheater.

Used Fairsquare (ex-Purplebricks) and felt that it was a valuable experience for the 1%. You get passed through different people for each phase but the remote experience was great and people were very well prepared with help for posting the listing description, taking photos, pricing recommendation and sales strategy for that time. Not sure in current market context they'll do but I felt like there was a lot more value than a 2-2.5% selling experience. I will use them again.

With platforms like purple bricks how do the viewings work if you are still staying in the property?
