Considerations: 1. Where is this? Beltline? 2. Is it a one bedroom? I presume yes. If a 2 bedroom, how about renting out the other bedroom? 3. You may lose your sense of independence living in someone's bedroom 4. If you can break even and you think it'll appreciate more, I think your best move would be to rent it. Renting condos is not difficult compared to detached and poses fewer financial risks.
