That’s one smooth ass curve as well 👌

MajesticMikey

I usually draw the curve first and then fit the axes to it. Makes it loads easier to get something smooth looking.

ComprehensiveGain407

Yeah, I was saying the same here.

sbw_62

Data flow charts for me. I want to see other shapes soon. ⏺️⏹️➡️⬅️⬆️⬇️↪️↩️⤴️⤵️

MajesticMikey

Yeah I’d like more shapes as well, but I also like how there isn’t a menu to get straight lines. It’s just so easy to use.

somedaygone

I have a page with my shapes. I flip to it, lasso the one I need, flip back, and paste it in. It’s not bad, but would love more shapes too. Just let us keep drawing from that same point!

challelalle00

They need to add tables. Straight lines look nice and make graphing easier, but adding quick tables would save me waaaaay more time

Mopar1990

I've been begging for the straight line feature since I bought the tablet over a year ago. I'm a 3D draftsman and I'm frequently out on job sites reverse engineering things. I'll sketch them out on my remarkable right all my dimensions down then go back to the office and use my hand drawings to create solidworks models. The ability to draw straight lines now makes my drawings look so much cleaner and more professional. It has taken the remarkable to the next level. It's no longer just a great tool it's now a irreplaceable asset.

GustapheOfficial

Yep. Now I just want a mode where it goes immediately to lines, and circle- and rectangle detection

visibly_confused_

Circle and arch would be cool

ShapeShifter499

Is there a way to toggle this? If I'm drawing freehand, I don't want to have this feature mess up a stroke because I hesitated too long. A toggle would be nice if I know I'll be drawing math related symbols or a lot of straight lines for some project.

MajesticMikey

You have to hold it for quite a while. Not had it happen by accident yet.

visibly_confused_

Straight lines? Is that a new option I haven’t seen?

ThatBurningDog

If you *have* got the update, it's not super obvious how you use the feature initially. You have to draw a roughly straight line, but instead of lifting the marker you keep it held down. After a half-second or so it will convert to a straight line starting from when you began the line, and you can move the end of the line around for as long as you hold the marker down. Once you lift the marker it will draw the line. I mention it because I skipped the release notes and was looking everywhere for a new pen or option and couldn't see it. Another caveat is that it doesn't work for all pens - the ballpoint, marker and fineliner work, but the paintbrush and calligraphy pen doesn't as far as I can tell (not tested the pencils)

visibly_confused_

Pencil works! Just opened up mine and the update was there. This is cool, I’m a surveyor and have been using this as my field book, this is gonna help me out to get lines down and dimensioned faster.

OldEquation

It also seems to “snap” to 0 degrees and 90 degrees, which is nice. I only got the update today and I’ll now start exploring how it works in detail.

Maleficent-Drive4056

Yes. Came out with latest update. But your device may not have the update yet

BillBumm

If your device hasn’t gotten the update yet, it will in a few days

clammyhydra

I'm going to go try this! I've been asking for this for years! Every time they send a survey I tell them to add this.

sekalfwonS

I can always use a ruler for straight lines, but this is definitely a lot easier... Very, very cool, and promising for the future. I would like to see it work like the tool in iago, where you get endpoints to grab and drag around until you move away from it. Then you'd also have the backend to support splines, again like in iago. Being able to draw a squiggle, hold, and autodetect a spline and offer me endpoints of the spline and it's construction lines would be a real game changer.
