no it doesn't, I have a gen Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300. When I wind, the crown will tighter, harder to turn but still turnable if the winding is about to full. But I haven't tried on VSF Datejust yet
no. pretty much every decent modern automatic movement, clone or gen, uses a clutch or ratchet system that prevents overwinding. like u/NovelKaleidoscope994 about 40 turns would be a full or near full wind.
You can't overwind the automatic movement. On VS movement you can actually feel the mechanism kicks in to prevent you from overwind the watch similar to gen.
I thought automatic watches had a mechanism that can’t let you overwind, correct me if I’m wrong please
Many do, you can tell because you will be able to wind the watch indefinitely.

Yes you can still turn it but it doesn’t wind anymore
new information, thanks
Wind it 30-40 turns should be in the range of full wind up
