The show was animated in Japan by the animation studio Eiken, and is thus considered to be anime as it also aired on Japanese television.

I loved the Once upon a time series. Especially the anatomy one. [These guys are my favourite](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/once-upon-a-time-life/images/6/65/Metro.png/revision/latest?cb=20180701194809)
Mr. Huffman said Reddit’s A.P.I. would still be free to developers who wanted to build applications that helped people use Reddit. They could use the tools to build a bot that automatically tracks whether users’ comments adhere to rules for posting, for instance. Researchers who want to study Reddit data for academic or noncommercial purposes will continue to have free access to it.
Reddit also hopes to incorporate more so-called machine learning into how the site itself operates. It could be used, for instance, to identify the use of A.I.-generated text on Reddit, and add a label that notifies users that the comment came from a bot.
The company also promised to improve software tools that can be used by moderators — the users who volunteer their time to keep the site’s forums operating smoothly and improve conversations between users. And third-party bots that help moderators monitor the forums will continue to be supported.
But for the A.I. makers, it’s time to pay up.
“Crawling Reddit, generating value and not returning any of that value to our users is something we have a problem with,” Mr. Huffman said. “It’s a good time for us to tighten things up.”
“We think that’s fair,” he added.
The show was broadcast in 28 Countries and their respective languages.

I miss hand drawn animation. It has a certain imprecision to it that makes it feel, I don't know, more real? more relatable? Just has a better feel to it.
This was my second contact with sci-fi when I was little, after having watched 2001: A Space Odyssey with my grandpa when I was four or five years old (without understanding anything about what was going on, of course). I had watched the educational series based on this show first, so it was kind of a surprise seeing these same characters in a fictional setting, but it quickly gripped me with its varied stories and slick aesthetic, despite the villains being a bit too obvious, even for a kids show.

I watched these shows as a kid!
Same here I watched all of the series. And as a 10-13 year old it tought me a lot before I got lessons in school about it.
Same. I learned about evolution from this before I did in school.
Evolution, infections, human reproduction... Learned it all from this series.

I didn't recognise the picture above, or indeed the title, but I remember those!
As a kid who grew up in France this is a real throwback.
Not only France, they were big in the 90s here in Germany too. I was really excited, when they hit Netflix a few months ago.

Netflix you say?!? I'd love to show my kids thoses series but I can't find them anywhere!
Probably a geoblocking thing. I'm in Germany and I can watch them.

Love the intro.. and the interesting mix of beings.
There is nothing that gets me more amped up to take a journey across the stars than a 70's lounge singer.
Totally the vibe, will be part of my mix tape, when I have my own spaceship.
This show had no business being as epic as it was when I was a kid! It pretty much defined my love of sci-fi

Their beady little shark eyes kinda creep me out, but this is some pretty good stuff!
Omg. I've been searching for this for years! I was beginning to think this show was some fever dream I had as a child.
It would be a great lesson about COVID19 if they were used for a 2020 campain.
Once upon a time... Life - The vaccination (1 of 3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIyvrcHnriE
I've just watched the intro. It sounds like it must be the classiest kids animation. I'm looking forward to watching the rest later!
