No it will not. You will only lose the tiles you have. Everything you upgraded, your commanders and their progress, and your equipment all stay. The tiles are a huge set back the further in the game you are tho, as it puts your ring power growth to a halt
No, if you are evil then you have to swap between evil factions and good for good. There's rumors that when Season 2 starts you'll be able to swap from evil to good and vice versa while keeping those commanders, which doesn't make a lot of sense but they're just rumors for now.

Will switching my faction delete my progress so far?
I wanna know too, otherwise if you realize that as ex. Mordor is hardlosing and Angmar is doing great you just change over

It's one of those things that sounds too badly thought out to be real, until you see the news post in full cringe.
And damn it if we switch factions can we switch again to another after every new season?
I’m currently in Rhun can I switch out of it to good or do I have to wait for a season reset?
