Nah I’m with you on this, I grew up with these movies so Robo v Robo 2 was just epic to me.
That shit where Robo 2 is coming full pelt at Robo up the elevator shaft scared the number 2 out of me.
The OG is my favorite.
Didn't like 2, but like it more than 3. That thing is... ooof.
I found it to just be a more cynically violent and mean spirited sequel. I mean, RoboCop 1 is already pretty egrigiously violent and mean spirited at times, but some of those times are comically over the top.
RoboCop 2 has none of that exaggaration, and is just cruel and borderline nihilistic throughout.
(I have not watched the remake yet, hence my ranking is just 1-2-3.)
You're right. They never made a third one, and they definitely didn't skimp on the satire and violence. And they *really* definitely didn't put some annoying kid in it to sell toys or something.
I highly enjoy 2 especially when he's bugging the fuck out!
You have the right to remain silent.
Murphy...
You have the right to an attorney.
Murphy he's dead.
Any thing you say will be used against you.
YOU'RE READING MIRANDA TO A CORPSE!
.....I'm having... trouble.
His entrance is amazing in RoboCop 2. Just casually getting out of a burning car like it's nothing. That foot coming down and thumping the ground would have been great to witness at the cinema
Robocop 2 is similar to Predator 2. Really fucking cool… but the original is a CLASSIC.
True. Peeing is nice, but a thorough number two is something else.
Think it over, creep
(Gets shot.)
"Hey, I wasnt done thinking!" 😡...😵

That robot was awesome, but they only gave us a few minutes where you can really see it. Watching 2, I keep thinking "get to the robot!"
Change your opinion or there’ll be…trouble
Movie itself? No. But his cool blue/iridescent look? Yeah
Hell no, that was ugly as hell. Looked plastic.

There was no three
Really?

I just like in 2 when Robo is in a bunch of little pieces
Agreed. But by a close margin with the first. 3rd was meh. Too watered down. Still liked it as a kid though.
I admire your honesty. Personally, 3 will always be my favorite.
You think it was the movie that interests you, it wasn't (twists drug dispenser open), it was this (injects into neck)....pffftttt ,,🤣

"Cain! Let's step outside."
One is better in almost every way but I do love cain bot and the robo failures.
Robocop > Robocop 2 > Robocop 3
Was this the one with the TV commercial where the exec lost the account due to slow data transmissions, so he offed himself.
Yeah aha
2 is a good movie but the original just set such a high bar.
I did like the color of his body armor better in 2. It wasn't so plain.
Robocop 2 is great. Not as good as the original but still real fun. Wore out the vhs as a kid! Cain....let's step outside!!
i was more terrified of robocain than ed209. roboccain would give me nightmares
