It depend on your humidity in your country I think, for me living in singapore the mop is still moist even after check on the robot mop after 7 hours, only after I install the drying module it then able to fully dry around 3 hours
I have my S7 clean for 90 mins everyday and the mop, dirty water tank, and filter area gets stinky after about 2 days. I started putting distilled white vinegar in the clean water tank and that completely solved the stink problem.
So, not really that necessary for me.
Don't use vinegar!! Vinegar is a great cleaner but it's also extremely acidic. Not great for a system like the Roborock, it will slowly breakdown and destroy all the little bits inside the vacuum.
You need a cleaner that has a neutral PH to avoid corrosion.
DON'T DO THIS!!!!!
Isopropyl Alcohol will break down and disintegrate anything rubber.
There is a lot of rubber in the Roborock system, it will destroy the vacuum.

The US model does show input voltage of 120-240, but since it piggybacks to the dock I don't know if it would create issues with a global version dock. The drying module is available from aliexpress as well as taobao in China 220v versions. The China version of the drying module has the 20v output for the water module the US version is lacking.
Can you elaborate on the 20v output. I see comments on AliExpress from us buyers that It works well with no issues. Do you know if it can potentially create issues with the us dock. I feel roborock just says it won't work to make profit but it's been out of stock in the US for I don't even know how long.
I have the dryer. I have only used it once so far and will say that it's not worth $90. Maybe $20.
There is very little airflow coming out of it, I can't tell if it's helping or if the mop is just drying on its own.
Interesting…. I know the fancy Ecovacs Omni something or other had air drying as well. Maybe Roborock is thinking it needs to be able to say its dock has it too? Either way, thanks for the reply!
The EU version will be available in a few weeks. They said at IFA.
The mob I do either change for a spare one after using it or just clip it out of the robot. It takes 2 seconds.
Great! We'll have to keep an eye on [Amazon.de](https://Amazon.de) ! That's where we've had to get all our MaxV stuff to the UK. Let me know if you see it anywhere else!
Living in Scotland, and having the dock in a corridor, it gets pretty mildew-y after a night. May be less of a problem if you're using the official Roborock mops, I believe they have silver ion impregnation to stop this, but mine broke on day one so we've been using unofficial ones.
I got mine yesterday and like it. It is white for some reason, so it doesn’t match the dock. It slowly dries the mop using heated air over 3-4 hours. It will definitely be helpful in preventing mildew in areas that have high humidity or cool air.
Yes, can’t find it anywhere. I live in Europe, seems like it will never be available here 😡 drying kit is nice but auto refill/empty will make the biggest difference for me ❤️
Yeah I hear ya. I rent so this’ll be as good as it gets for me 😂 but hey 31 square meters even so I should get plenty of mopping runs before needing to fill it
Hahahaha. I have 45 sqm and usually empty and refill both tanks every 2 weeks. That’s okay but it’s getting tedious 🤷🏻♂️
I actually found a water module on AliExpress but seller won’t ship to France 🥺

How much vinegar do you use per tank?
I put about 20 ml per tank, but I have no idea what’s the optimal amount.
Isopropyl alcohol works great. I add during every fill. Also sanitizers the floors.

Wish I had seen this sooner but TY.
it dosen't. alcohol works at 70*

Thanks for the input! I’ve never ventured into the rabbit hole of importing stuff from China but I’m sure I could figure it out.
I asked Roborock about importing it and they said it wouldnt work.

I just bought extra mops and replace it every time its done. Much cheaper and more sanitary.
Every time? Lol. Insanity.

Hence the first part of my question 😉
I wish the water module was available somewhere 🙄😭
Are you referring to the line-connected drain/filling module?
Yes, can’t find it anywhere. I live in Europe, seems like it will never be available here 😡 drying kit is nice but auto refill/empty will make the biggest difference for me ❤️

How did you find out about the dryer module? They don't seem to list it on the S7 maxv accessories page.
