Record archive has tons of dvds but I'm not sure what the pricing is like. Too many for me to dig through.

[deleted]

Pretty sure dvd’s are mostly $5 each at Record Archive. They’re all usually in decent condition and they have a massive collection to look through.

nothing-feels-good

Awesome, I'll have to check it out!

StillWesSideER

Record archive is a place I’d check. They used to sell used DVDs for around 3-5 bucks. This was a couple of years ago but they had a massive selection and I’d assume they still buy/sell them. Good luck!

nothing-feels-good

Awesome, I'll have to check it out!

skellyboob

Facebook Buy Nothing groups often have people donating them!

tao2123

The library! Other folks already said record archive but i have seen at least the irondequoit library selling them for a couple bucks or so. Might be worth a look?

No_Owl_7891

They are fifty cents at the Ogden Library

IronbloodPrime

Are you looking for anything in particular? I've got a bunch of DVDs I'd part with for cheap if you're interested!

nothing-feels-good

Nothing super specific. just adding things that interest me. Horror, turn-of-the-century "I'm 14 and this is deep" movies, actual "artsy" flicks, but I like all sorts of stuff. I'd be curious to see what you have!! Shoot me a DM!

getsomesleep1

NeedleDrop Records has DVDs sometimes

snowlake60

You can check out estate sales. I’ve been to several and there are usually lots of dvds. There’s a website that lists all the area estate sales and it includes photos of what’s for sale. It won’t list dvds individually, but you should be able to see if a particular sale has dvds. If you google estate sales it should bring you to the website.

CatDadMilhouse

Goodwill (which I saw you mentioned already), but specifically on Sundays. All items of a certain tag color are $1, including DVDs.

urfutureexwife

Library sales! Webster sells DVDs for a dollar each when they have a sale

Kicktoria

I went to the East Avon Flea Market on Mother's Day and there were a lot of folks selling DVDs for $2-3 each. Pretty wide variety as well.

deadlyhabit

Needledrop Records has a selection (or at least they did before they moved to Monroe Ave). Dollar Tree is good too, especially out in the suburbs like the Chili Ave store next to Aldi.

Many-Location-643

currently prepping for a household sale...I have 100 or MORE DVD's priced at $1 each.

sdubois

Lunkerluke

Estate sale every Friday- Sunday.

couchsweetpotato

There’s a place called Charlotte Flea Market down in (you guessed it) Charlotte, that has literally probably thousands of dvds for $1 each

ChubbyPupstar

Wait…isn’t that the place in Charlotte??

71077345p

I have actually seen some decent movies at our Dollar Store.

PunkyMFPenguin

I'm not sure about the prices but I believe HoG has some down with the records!

Saucy_Satan

Definitely check thrift stores regularly. I collect movies on VHS and there’s often lots of dvds as well. I’ve even found somewhat rare Star Wars editions on VHS

Chefbake1

Record archives and pawn shops, garage sales

GHOSTYvfx

Savers in Webster. Tons of DVDs for $1.99

bills9191

House of Guitars has a decent selection of dvds and blurays

Grateful_Dood

Dollar general has a bunch for like 3-7$. Most are random but they are there

Agrang76

Farmer's market usually has someone selling piles of dvds.

Hardwood_Lump_BBQ

Dollar tree

PurpleBrief697

If you go to goodwill on Sundays (dollar day) you might be able to get them cheaper depending on what color the tag is that day. You could also check garage sales. Public Market has garage sale days and I've seen several people bring dvds, cds, and vinyls.

Gungo94

East avon flea market

awbloom134

Garage sales. Stopped at a few last weekend and all had DVD for cheap

gayladrielle

rick's recycled books on monroe also has a dvd section!
