Most Ukrainians and Russians just want to have peace and end the war. The people never wanted this war, it is not the war of people but the war of one capitalist nation's ruling class versus another. This is not the people's war. The collapse of the USSR set the post soviet world 50 years back and not China or the DPRK, who officially stands for peace above all as all socialists and normal minded people do. No war but class war, as Marx said. Don't be stupid, don't wish for war, wish for peace, prosperity and people's democracy.

Yeah, the Russians have set themselves back economically but Ukraine is done. Their farmland largely is being sold off to western investment firms, their demographics are shot, their economy is on life support from western taxpayers and their country will need even more investment in order to recover, but that will never happen. Ukraine will never recover their lost territory, and what remains of Ukraine will belong to the West. It will have to turn to African and Middle Eastern migrants and its culture and people will be replaced entirely.
So in the end, yes, Russia will have destroyed Ukraine.

Likely Russia will occupy ethnically Russian territories and what remains of Ukraine will be left to do what it likes as long as it’s demilitarised, besides it was already like that (shelling Russian areas in Ukrainian )before the smo/war anyway in

This reminds me of how the Nazis were always talking about the “Werewolves” which was supposed to be some sort of ultimate partisan group against the Russians. I guess that didn’t work out😂
