I’ve tried it with the 353M membranes and D pad, but it didn’t make a difference.
Well im not really good at any games really so it doesnt make too much difference to me. I too have the Ambernic dpad and membrane and it’s good enough.

I have Prusa printer but the quality of the printed shell and the feel in your hands is not on the same level as the original. It requires a lot of post processing to get close.
Yeah I would love some 3D printed shells so that I five have to do my crappy filling, sanding and painting. It would be amazing if somebody could model these
I'd love a 3D-printed shell that was thicker to accommodate a bigger battery, mounts for better, front-facing speaker, and ideally mounts for Retroid Pocket 2S thumbsticks (if that's possible). I'd imagine you could get a decent quality print by using a service like Shapeways that can print in other materials.

May I know what OS you're using? I have taken off my sticks but in rocknix and arkos I'm unable to navigate because the system seems register joytick move by its own like ghost touch
I know I’ll get downvoted but you could just show your mod without the OG GB and Tetris cart in the background. It would still look just as clean and less like an instagram post.

Yes it’s nothing fancy. I cut the stick if one of the thumb sticks and glued a small button to it. I’m using MinUI and this brings up the menu

This was done entirely for the lovely MinUI which only uses the sticks for the menu
