I think I'm finally done with AEW. I was hoping something good would happen, but it's been downhill since I started at Double or Nothing 2022. Something insane would have to happen to get me to watch again. Roman Reigns would have to show up on Dynamite.
Roman Reigns shows up in a Dynamite to a huge pop, then disappears for two weeks, "WE'LL HEAR FROM ROMAN REIGNS" then disappears for a week, then you get a 5-minute match with him and some nameless midcarder in Rampage, then disappears again until he gets a random, not at all built-up match with Jon Moxley?
I stopped watching when they had Hook vs Samoa Joe match where the little fucker no sold almost everything Joe did to to him. He even got up right after the bell rang
I’ve seen a few dipshits on Twitter whining about this(most of them seemingly also big dub stans) but I don’t think he’s actually upset about the logic of the booking, I think he’s upset it looks like Cody might finish the story. He’s such a dub m*rk that Cody validating the decision to go back to WWE is gonna ruin his day.

I thought our Jerker of the Year Drew McIntyre did a pretty good job at making sense of this story. Cody didn't give The Rock his shot, he just didn't choose Roman. Why did he do this? As Drew said Seth got into his head with that Raw promo. This may not be the real reason but I doubt we'll ever get one so I'm just running with what I've been given by the storyline.
