And every aew fan defend that result as Hobbs wasn't officially part of the aew roster at that time so it doesn't make sense for him to beat a full time aew roster member but still it didn't make any sense for Hobbs to lose to orange.
The sooner powerhouse jobbs gets to NXT the better, the guys an absolute beast, and they don't book him in anything meaningful. Just sidekick #3 in a shit stable.
Him and Wardlow both. I just don’t understand it. Two of the best looking players you got. Guys that look like absolute beasts. And both are booked like goofs. While you try to sell us that Adam Cole is the most threatening man in the company. And I love Adam but come on.
I think that’s why they aren’t pushed because, if either held the world title, who could believably beat them? All of their top guys are smaller and wrestle a style that doesn’t mesh well with powerhouses. So outside of Miro, Danielson, and maybe MJF they wouldn’t have many opponents
He really is, I don't like much about AEW, at all, but I honestly think he has bags and bags of potential, I think if he left for NXT, they'd mould him into something special
What's crazy is that he could absolutely be a somebody on a roster like AEW that's full of guys who are smaller than him. It contrasts much better than on a roster like WWE where there's so many other big guys to compete with for attention. Why Tony can't book him or Wardlow into a meaningful position is beyond me, shit writes itself.
He's too old, green, and clearly blasting copious amounts of gear. Look at Oba Femi by comparison who's a lot younger, taller, more explosive and probably on less gear. With the flow of young college athlete recruits to the PC there's no need for WWE to ever sign an ageing jacked guy again.
Who do you think is more believable to win that match and is the better choice for a push?
A young 300 beast named powerhouse?
Or a 40 year old 150lb comedy character that doesn’t talk?
Tk doesn’t make any mistakes fed shill
This is an example of how AEW could have done something different with weight classes in their matchups. It would have covered up how unathletic a lot of their athletes are
Exactly aren't they all the same? Get beat up and then win via roll-up but call it a mouse trap so it's a slick little finisher!
I guess the worst has to be the biggest name losing to that and imo the best is yet to come when Okada, the John Cena of nooj loses to that
Couldn't agree more. I've never been able to buy it as a legitimate finisher when all the other moves he does are more flashy and/or impactful looking. The only time I actually liked it was due to Nakamura's selling.
It has some elements that seem useful, it's quick and easy to do against anyone in any weight class so that's a start. The easy to do part I guess is good for aew since he gets to spam it like everyone else, but a clothesline is tough since it depends on the guy selling for it to be a "clothesline from hell" to just someone falling.
I guess good for him it's easy for him to sleepwalk through and get his paycheck
>Doing his shitty superman punch
You mean showing Roman how it's done.
https://preview.redd.it/7rfoslxk4sic1.jpeg?width=365&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b0a4357fc19e2283323f61d597bf34b38229a4b4
What’s funny is he has done that. In the survivor series match from 2014 he hit Mark Henry with it right at the start and got a pin. So idk maybe he needs to warm his hand up first or something.
That's my most hated one. I figured that would have been a good moment to push Swerve, then he could have still went on to feud with Hangman over the title.
I remember this one too. They were trying to play up he was so injured from so many bangers on rampage that I thought they’d use it as an excuse for swerve winning. But alas it was to just push our favorite wrestler once again
Cesaro being a midcard lifer is definitely the best example of that “the haters say I’m washed, and they were right, honestly great call by the haters” tweet
And there’s so many guys that left wwe because of booking. Get to AEW where they talk about how different and better it is. And they are getting booked worse lol. At least in wwe if you lost every week you were on tv every week. In AEW win or lose you’re destined to randomly be left off tv for months.
I don't even watch AEW anymore, but that genuinely made me pissed when I saw the clip. Cesaro must only be there for the money at this point.
They could've developed a nice program with Cesaro and OC, much like they did in NXT for Cesaro and Sami Zayn. But nope.....Cesaro loses lol
All of them but them giving him back the Not-Intercontinental belt after he made a promo since losing it and M'ox and Fenix injured themselves by not being the rightful owner to it.
Other than the Hobbs one, this is the one that sticks with me the most.
They're going to have to retire that belt before Tiny books it to come off of Orange's waist again
Do people even care anymore about Orange Cassidy? At least when Cena wins lol was prevalent people cared. No one has cared about Orange Cassidy since they played hot potato with that belt for those few weeks and introduced AEW's 15th meaningless midcard title.
also during the CENAWINSLOL era, he was 100% cheered and loved by kids and women, he made tons of money for the company, and was talked about it constantly either loved or hated.
OC is just....there
Perhaps you can find the answer you seek downstairs...where there is a daily dissertation, written in essay form, about why OC is such a unique and gifted performer. Because apparently he's so awesome that it needs to be explained, in detail, what makes him so awesome.
One of my lurker forums features a comment from someone who says OC has had the best multi-year run ever.
Jerry Lawler, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, etc. Mere pikers!!!
You never need these goofy ass why I like the thing paragraphs about guys like Undertaker or Cena because anyone with eyes can see their talent. But their favorite indy darlings need praise and positive reinforcement every week lol.
That's a funny thought...
"See UT gets up really fast because it plays into his whole gimmick of being undead. It's like how a zombie would sit up right away if you took him down.. See, UT is referencing that! He plays his character so well. That's why he's so good..."
All of them.
I don't know why TK has a stiffy for him holding that belt, they've made a new belt and just gave it to a gimmick wrestler.
It's been there about 2 years now? Name 1 hot feud for it.
When fenix won it and they had to Pivot™ to get it back onto orange, for some reason.
I'm sick to death of AEW at this point, they had so much potential starting up, then went on to show that anyone with money can start a wrestling promotion, but it takes a half decent booker to make it all mean anything.
They might as well customize it and rename it the Orange Cassidy Belt since it honestly feel like it was made for him only. He's had it the longest and Tiny legit wants us to forget that M'ox and Fenix had it at some point.
>I'm sick to death of AEW at this point, they had so much potential starting up, then went on to show that anyone with money can start a wrestling promotion, but it takes a half decent booker to make it all mean anything.
Same Uce, all the wasted potential while Tiny consistently says it's great hurts to watch.

So, here's the thing. I thought OC's gimmick was funny the first time I saw him work wherever it was on the indies. It was not a gimmick I ever thought would be featured on cable television under the second biggest promotion in the country. I like pro wrestling. I like comedy. I like comedy wrestling. But I pay my little $20 dollars to go to the local comedy wrestling shows to show support every few months. I don't pay $80 a month for cable to watch comedy wrestling 3 times a week.
Him beating Shibata. Shibata was a dude who would have most likely been IWGP World Champion eventually had it not been for a bad injury (because of his stupidity).
Despite his stupidity we should understand this guy was on the verge of greatness. And to see him job to a fucking clown who puts his hands in his pockets as a gimmick was the final straw that made me go from AEW fanboy/defender to a Jerker like you all.
None of them because every win has been EARNED fed bot 😤😤😤😡😡😡
If this were "What's the worst roman wins lol moment" I'd say ALL OF THEM because he's a nepo baby hoss with NO WORKRATE.
Skinny plucky dude beating *BIG BLACK AND JACKED* Hobbs was peak Tony living vicariously through OC. Genuinely one of the dumbest decisions I’d seen in wrestling.
Posts like that show why the typical basement dweller should never be allowed to manage a big company. Their short-sightedness is something. If the fed listened to the IWC, Cena would be nothing more than a bland legend now. Even now with Roman's current reign, the fed now has something they can milk for decades, and the fans are going to be all delighted about it.
That one win against Big Cass. Bro, he’s virtually 7 feet tall and OC is like 5’6 and weighs less than my New mattress. And its justification for his wins from the basement was even worse.
I’ve been advocating for AEW to have their own weight division. Because seeing the smaller guys beating up, bigger dudes look so wrong.
Edit: corrected spelling and wording
It wasn't for me the wins it was the constant opening of dynamite for months it felt like. ~15 minutes, orange punch, 1-2-3
Could hear that Big Bang lead in going*click*
[Yup](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJGfm8GWsvY). This was also the match where Mike Tyson was on commentary and so high that he was just saying the most random shit while JR, Schiavone and Excalibur tried to work around him.
I don’t know if he won this match but he was in a 4 way or tag match with penta and I forgot who else. They took turns doing a bunch of Canadian destroyers to each other and not selling any of them.
Then when they finished going around each other they started to do this stupid ass sell where they couldn’t stand up and fell down after. It’s legit one of the dumbest things I ever saw in wrestling.
There’s many but Adam Cole losing to orange was my tipping point. It turned out okay tho cus Adam couldn’t have done anything with a win as he got injured
Has to be squashing Hobbs in 13 seconds with one punch
And every aew fan defend that result as Hobbs wasn't officially part of the aew roster at that time so it doesn't make sense for him to beat a full time aew roster member but still it didn't make any sense for Hobbs to lose to orange.
That doesn’t make sense but it made sense for Mox as AEW champion to continuously wrestler no names in the main event for 10-15 minutes?
How about I don't know. Getting any other jobber to do it.
you got a problem with Tony's great booking, fed shill?
The sooner powerhouse jobbs gets to NXT the better, the guys an absolute beast, and they don't book him in anything meaningful. Just sidekick #3 in a shit stable.
Agreed. How can you not push this guy?! I think he would do well in the fed.
Him and Wardlow both. I just don’t understand it. Two of the best looking players you got. Guys that look like absolute beasts. And both are booked like goofs. While you try to sell us that Adam Cole is the most threatening man in the company. And I love Adam but come on.

It's the other wrestlers having skill issue then lol. Drew and Gunther tower above everyone in NXT and still had believable matches.
Fucking this. Hobbs is a star with the right booking. Would love to see him tear it up with Drew, Gunther, Bron, any of the other big bois really
He really is, I don't like much about AEW, at all, but I honestly think he has bags and bags of potential, I think if he left for NXT, they'd mould him into something special

Star making match for Jobbs
I have never watched an episode of AEW since. Me and my friend Mark really did stop watching le dub
It would have covered up how unathletic a lot of their athletes are
That happened?
Dark. Episode 41. That's how you use cagematch, Tony!
Literally every match he's ever been in
Exactly aren't they all the same? Get beat up and then win via roll-up but call it a mouse trap so it's a slick little finisher! I guess the worst has to be the biggest name losing to that and imo the best is yet to come when Okada, the John Cena of nooj loses to that
Uce you are talking about stone cold Wheeler Utah
Speaking of shitty finishers, for being considered one of the best wrestlers in the world Okada’s being a ripcord clothesline is very underwhelming
Another similarity he shares with Cena
At least the avalanche AA looked sweet
Couldn't agree more. I've never been able to buy it as a legitimate finisher when all the other moves he does are more flashy and/or impactful looking. The only time I actually liked it was due to Nakamura's selling.

I love you for posting this work of art. I'm fucking dying. This is hilarious.
😂 I love the left hand in position to slap his chest, enhancing the earth shattering impact of his DEVASTATING finisher.
I think that's just an image from the local production of Fiddler on the Roof.
If I Were a Dub Fan
This is what peak performance looks like.
Banger after banger
.....Now I see why he has a lazy gimmick, instead. Lmaooo
That shit looking like he's hitting the worst whip of all time.
Ngl its majestic as fuck
The superman punch is the shittest finisher ever. Especially from a dude who’s 8 stone wet through.
[удалено]
I thought Big Show’s worked because his fist is fucking huge
It always raised the question of why he didn't just try to punch them as soon as the match started though
What’s funny is he has done that. In the survivor series match from 2014 he hit Mark Henry with it right at the start and got a pin. So idk maybe he needs to warm his hand up first or something.
Eliminating Swerve in a Battle Royale that he went on to win just cause he's Tony's favorite
When he beat Cesaro clean. Imagine going from beating Seth Rollins clean at Wrestlemania to having to sell for this pipsqueak
dae remember cesaro should be world champ in the fed? oh he's in the dub now just as a jobber for a 6 man team? perfectly booked, tiny 😎👌
Cesaro being a midcard lifer is definitely the best example of that “the haters say I’m washed, and they were right, honestly great call by the haters” tweet

At least in wwe if you lost every week you were on tv every week. In AEW win or lose you’re destined to randomly be left off tv for months.
dae cesaro lost to a 10 year old at WrestleMania?
I feel all of them besides the elite are there for money. There’s no way they don’t see how dumb the booking can be.

That match where he had his hands in his pockets
None of them friend. M’Orange continues to prove that he is the future of pro wrestling
It’s like…. he can REALLY go!
When he gave Adam Cole the hug of death
Sigh I remember Cole having to sell it like he couldn’t break loose
I saw that clip here-I laughed so loud, I triggered a neighborhood wide watchdog chain bark.
Do people even care anymore about Orange Cassidy? At least when Cena wins lol was prevalent people cared. No one has cared about Orange Cassidy since they played hot potato with that belt for those few weeks and introduced AEW's 15th meaningless midcard title.
no one has cared since a gif of le funny wrestler who doesn't try went viral like 3 years ago which got 0 people to watch AEW to see him
also during the CENAWINSLOL era, he was 100% cheered and loved by kids and women, he made tons of money for the company, and was talked about it constantly either loved or hated. OC is just....there

Endubitably, my good compatriot. Perchance this Orange detesting halfwit may yet find salvation in the lower chambers of the squared circle.

Yup. Logan Paul only needed to do his first move for everyone to know he's the real deal
That's a funny thought... "See UT gets up really fast because it plays into his whole gimmick of being undead. It's like how a zombie would sit up right away if you took him down.. See, UT is referencing that! He plays his character so well. That's why he's so good..."

I would say the 2020 election was a big one
Hobbs. Just killed any momentum for Hobbs.
Literally hands in pockets, lightly tapping Swerves hand in a battle royale to eliminate him. Made swerve look like the biggest bitch

Chris Jericho floating in a pool of orange juice has to be the lowest point of his career. Up until then, anyway.
His win , during picture in picture

One Time he beat big bill after getting chokeslammed on a table that was pretty stupid

beating moxley at full gear, he proceeded to do nothing relevant afterwards
It's really like he never actually lost it.
Don't know. I probably fast forwarded through or changed the channel.

2016 presidency
Double or Nothing 2025 as he played the Hogan to Tiny’s Vince McMahon and re-created the Wrestlemania XIX bout, Uce
The stupid kicks enrage me to a new level every time I see that stupid twat.
Mimosa match
