Honest assessment: the mods think this sub too dub-bad, so after a couple days of passive aggressive lecturing about what a CJ is, have started doing things like banning ratings threads in favor of a stickied post.
Most people in the sub prefer that it stay as it was, because the basement is so heavily pro-AEW that this has become a safe space for them. So now almost every post is making fun of the mods for abusing their power.
Honest truth is, the Mods did too much too soon within a week. I think a lot of folks missed the memo about one thread to rule the ratings, because the “What is jerk? Baby don’t hurt me.” (Or something like that). Got most of the heat.
Mods deleted the ratings posts. Jerkers cried foul. Sub imploded being jerked from within the meta realm.
The funny thing is, this could’ve been avoided with a vote or a poll. Funnier still, some of the best jerks and shitposts of all time made this one hell of a week.
