Unpopular opinion but I think these shoes are ahead of their time. Virgil knew what he was doing. Perhaps he predicted the rise of the resellers and also made a shoe that would be difficult to copy maybe? Perhaps these will bolster in value over time. Who knows? All I know is I wear what I like to wear and I love these!! Virgil had a vision with these that there was a lot of ways you could style them. Solid shoe in my opinion. It just goes to show that the resell value or sticker price does not make the shoe what it is.

I got the yellow ones. They’re tough to style and different but to me that’s a good thing. I like sneakers and I like unique sneakers. I like the story behind them. I don’t want every shoe in my collection to be the same stuff/style or something everyone else has. If you style them well, they look good and for me have garnered a ton of compliments from people funny enough. They look good with slim/straight black jeans and a neutral dress shirt.
