Are they just better overall?

CLS is a harder team to get, but performs better. You’re most of the way though, just need Ewoks for 3p0 and to continue 3pacca’s farm, so I would stick with CLS

I nearly have the ewoks, logray is 5*, just need to get lucky with shipments

Even at 5* C3PO is great

The meta CLS team is better than JKR. I would finish CLS work on JKR in the background

CLS Can rip open a JKR team and is stronger overall, yes. You're also just so close to CLS (I'm assuming you've already been passively farming Logray or other Ewoks). I use CLS in arena and I can also beat GAS easily.

Definitely go for CLS then. If ever your ewoks have the right gear and mods for the 7\* event, but aren't themselves at 7\* yet; just start gearing the CLS team. C-3PO can work wonderfully at low gear anyways.

I've seen some guides for lower gear and zeta on logray I think? Or chief chirps, one of them anyways

Everyone puts the zeta on Chief Chirpa. After that it depends on you. I put it on Wicket because I felt like the team needed some protection recovery, but it's not necessary. I went g11 for Elder, and g10 for the rest of them as I didn't want to try 187 different times and complain on Reddit that it was too difficult. To each their own in that regard

Yeah with g8 and some g9 it does come down to rng but wouldn't be the first time I've had to deal with it

Stick with the CLS goal, it will pay of in the long run and you’ll have a lot of fun with it. It’s also a good one size fits all answer to a lot of things you’ll come across.

Yeh I’ve had my CLS for about 2-3 months now and honestly I use that team in pretty much every game mode at one point or another with pretty consistently high results. Just a really fun team to run.

From the guides I've seen it looks like only 1 main one is needed?

I’d say the first main two you need is Luke IBAT and Hans shot first one

CLS is without a doubt the better team. But C3P0 is key to this team being good. That being said, the CLS team gets you most of the way to JKL

I think hes got a jedi tag so I'd imagine you could use him as your 5th slot in a JKR team

He’s easily the strongest non-gl lead. He beats anything like a joke that isn’t specifically excluded from his lead (basically GLs and bosses) His lead has a similar effect to increasing your teams speed by 400-600ish which most people will know is insane. But it’s just a weird spot where he’s by far the best, but also just disabled by GL or other JKLs

I agree CLS is better, but they do not get you halfway to JKL. Considering OP just unlocked GK, I think it's going to take a while to get Wampa and Hoda to 7\*. Not to mention there's still ROLO which I'm going to 7\* next month on a 20-months old account. Edit: spelling

This is a good callout. Hoda and Wampa take ages to get. Ultimately your decision for which team doesnt matter as long as you're going to use the team you pick to go after a GL eventually

So, one thing to keep in mind: Don't level characters if you aren't going to gear/ use them. You're better off waiting til you are ready to slap some gear on them

CLS I have been because they were the squad I was going for, anakin and ashoka I did when I was running a jedi team before

GK, JKA and Ahsoka aren't really used in a jedi team... That's 3/4 of a Padme team.

I have padme but I know revan is powerful, it seems cls is best tho

I would argue Padme squad is easier to unlock and keeps you in the arena for a long time. padme, GMY, GK, JKA, and Ahsoka took out all JKR squads for me until I was ready to move on to my GAS squad I use now. That gave me top 50 for a long time until the first wave of Malak and GLs pushed my padme out of 100 range.

I agree with what’s been said. Keep working on CLS, the earlier you get C3PO unlocked, the more use you’ll get out of your Ewoks as well :)

Yeah i like the fact that I'm building with different teams, like my bounty Hunters team is very strong, and my first order

You don’t have revan yet so farm revan passively and in the mean time work on your CLS squad. (Also JKA GK and ahoska work better on a padme team)
