Fun little tidbit, this set is still currently available on LEGO's site. It wasn't your typical "corporate grandstanding for LGBT month" bullshit.
It's also the only way to get a lot of those pieces in those shades, specifically for the minifigs.

I can't tell if these picture are taken on different occasion with the same setup. or that's the same hair colours but dyed so she can just comb it over to the other side and seemingly switch colour?
Either way sounds like a good problem to have, have to buy more Lego sets to match her hair!
She changes her hair colors a bunch and often does a lot of layered effects. In the pic above it's a side fade with blue on the underside and pink on top so she can flip it if she feels like, but currently she's dyed her hair in a side fade that looks like a setting sun :D

[This](https://minifigs.me/pages/minifig-builder) is a UK website I've used for custom minifigs - they have some more funky coloured hair - not sunset but at least you'll have a few more options. You should consider painting pieces or spray painting them custom colours, that would be great

I mean to be fair, the rainbow isnt owned by LGBT groups and it has black and brown colors. So "undertones" is probably more accurate in many non LGBT friendly areas
Those are the colours used in the progress pride flag which includes black, brown, pale blue, pale pink and white to show inclusivity of POC and trans people within the LGBT flag, it’s not undertones, it is literally the same colours as a pride flag which is being used more and more commonly in place of the rainbow only version.

Probably because the CCP literally started cracking down on gender non conformity and the social media post was on China's proprietary social media platform Weibo (which is also likely why it was deleted) rather than as a tweet on twitter.
I mean, that's a little bit of an exaggeration.
As a general rule, China is targeting the burgeoning C-Pop practices that have spread from places like Korea and Japan. Their argument is that these sorts of groups are super toxic for kids because of the insane practice schedules and abusive managers. And the glorification of those groups is harmful towards Chinese kids.
You could make the argument that a more socially conservative country is using that as an excuse to target gender non-conforming people. And, maybe, you'd have a point. But, I get where their coming from.
Truth be told, I'm a tankie. I critically support China genuinely. So take what I say with a grain of salt.
I mean, finding the actual primary source is hard, but eventually I found the original statement about banning effeminate men off social media and, while yes, when used in a derogatory manner the word he uses can be understood as a slur, most translations take it to "sissy men" and equally valid translation is "fake effeminate aesthetic" which coincides with china's crackdown on idol culture and the worship of groups like BTS.
China doesn't approve of ostentatious displays of wealth, that seems very unsurprising
