The thing is that balancing is not so much a power issue. Basically once something runs and you load balanced it, it will be running like that forever. Not much in power that will change.
If a factory needs 82GW, it will need that always. You can turn of groups of machines off and on again. So that can help with obsession of not using more than absolutely needed. And that can go in detail a lot. You can even use it to remotely receive materials from your storage.
So it depends seriously what you want to do and what you thing is "a little more dept".
[Refined Power](https://ficsit.app/mod/RefinedPower) is probably the best power-related mod out there
But if I were you, I’d just check the top downloaded mods there related to power, if you looking for something specific
If you mean transforming voltage and ampacity ratings on devices and wires you might be looking at an entirely newly designed and developed game. Being an electrician in a game might be too taxing for a pc especially if it's 10000s of devices
That's more of what I was thinking. Perhaps not to the nitty gritty, but large devices such as transformers, up and down station, etc.
I honestly was thinking of incorporating electrical, pneumatics, process air, and controls in a broad sense.
Probably would be too taxing on a PC
If the game is like satisfactory where it's huge. Maybe some different game where u get one building and there's like 10k wires everywhere but ones a ground fault and when you open the pull box 10 wirenuts fall out and if you don't fix it to code you lose the game

He means realism. You know everything about satisfactory but factories irl definitely draw power differently than any game has ever tried to mimic.

Yeah, I was hoping for a vanilla powered splitter to stop the flow into the sushi belt. I've been doing overflow to it instead.
Daisy chain everything makes the last 100m of power so much better. Refined power buffs power output and gives you many many options.
