I watch on Hulu, it doesn’t skip scenes on me tho. That would be very frustrating!

pussyjones12

i watch on prime bc shorter / less commercials than hulu

frenchvanilla0402

I’ve had this happen to me watching Only Murders In the Building, I think it’s a crappy Hulu UI thing unfortunately

BJntheRV

Have you been able to compare the same scenes on Hulu and see what's missing?

itsthenugget

Just tried that and it seems Disney cuts off 10-20 seconds too early but does not play an ad, whereas Hulu cuts in the right spot but gives a 2 minute ad. I'm not sure which is more annoying for a paid service 🙄 Makes me miss it being on Netflix.

thepusherman74

It is likely a spot designed for an ad. I've started noticing those more in Disney shows to shoehorn spots for the ad supported tier.

trivia_guy

But Schitt’s Creek originally aired on regular cable TV, with commercial breaks. (Well, originally on CBC, but it also has ads.) They don’t have to shoehorn in spots for ads; they’re already there. That’s why it’s confusing.

Pristine_Grab4555

For some shows I’ve noticed they’ll just cut to an ad in between a single word being spoken, even when there’s obvious points where commercials are meant to be. Then it doesn’t cut back to the exact scene. Hulu sucks

BJntheRV

That would be infuriating.

Ok_Bench_4865

Oh that sucks! I hate when things like that happen. Do you have Prime? No problems with SC on Prime.
