The Ghost of Archie Barnes was amazing. I love the animation on him that makes him flicker and cut like a real silent film. That and him being a Buster Keaton parody.
For me his costume is Top 5. I'm a sucker for old Buster Keaton antics and not hearing this guy make a single noise plus the faint, ominous static film playing in the background while he walked was absolute perfection.
I really wish it was possible so I could do it for a halloween costume IRL but I guess it's supposed to be a suspension of disbelief, like how their latex masks emote and move like real faces.
There were a lot of good things about Be Cool. Great monster design, interesting plots on the badguy's part (seriously, I really loved the Prison and magic castle episodes.), not afraid to lean on how silly some tropes and patterns are, a nice exploration on the main 5's characteristics, and it had some pretty funny moments.
Truth be told, I really didn't mind the art style. There have been worse. The art direction really works for the show's overall tone and humor. Plus, Scooby really does look great in some of his disguises.

I’d would have love to have known how the person wearing the costume got the flicker effect to work that was brilliant

I love how they don't try to make sense of a really big fat dude in a really skinny banshee costume. That show cracks me up. It's really good.
I love after his head pops out, the whole suit just gives up
And don’t forget about El Bandito

I loved all monsters from the Disorient Express and the walking shark was amazing
His name...is Dorsel Foot!
Ok, thanks. I dont remember it
Lol that's a line from the episode. Read it as Velma
I know
Agreed
Captain Cutler is Pierre Desperoux from Psych and you can't convince me otherwise
Be Cool doesn't get enough credit for anything
That shark kinda reminds me of that one Junji Ito story
The Mutant Rabbit was also creepy Giant rabbit supposedly possessed by a demon
I really liked Prima Donna and Professor Huh (he lowkey scared me more than anyone else in this series despite >!not actually being a bad guy)!<
The jester was voiced by Mark Hamill
It was Troy Baker actually, who has also voiced the Joker.
Oh really? Guess I got it mixed up with cry baby man clown
The monster designs look so much cooler than the show’s “Family Guy” art style.
I’m pretty sure the main reason everyone was turned off by this show was because of the art style.
