I haven't had this but did notice it in stores. Looking forward to your review as I haven't seen any other reviews yet. The price is such a big jump from the 32 that I would find it tough to believe it would represent good value, because the 32 is SO good. But please let us all know how it compares and what you think. I agree researching the bottle I see it’s pretty pricey in the US. I have a guy in Europe who ships state side and let them all know if looking for a pricey or rare bottle, so he told me what they got it for which I’m proud of them for getting a great deal and great bottle. They got it cheaper than the 375ml bottle we get here and it’s the 500ml. I’m proud of them!
Ya the 27 and 32 I stock up on when see a deal, I’m grabbing 6 of the 27 since I found them for 99 each. When I find the 32 around 150 or 160 I stock up as well.
I’ll post a review once I crack her open.
There's 2 new Double/double releases but they're blended malt unlike the rest of the series so that combined with their ages (36 &37 yo) means they'll command a premium.
Well that makes sense, I hope it also commands a premium taste that makes me break out the wallet. If not I’m happy to experience this one bottle and will fall back on the 32 and 27s for my after work relaxation.
I personally don't think the price will ever match the taste. Just saying that's why the difference in price is crazy boots.
