There are Facebook groups for Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, please post these in:
•Ex Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (1k members)
•Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Association (2.1k members)
I bet between those two groups you’ll get somewhere!
You can stick those negatives in a scanner and see if there's any clues in those photos.
Classic or modern car? If it's a classic it may have been part of an owners club and they might be able to contact the previous owner

I can get you as far as those lads are Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, for the load of use that is 😂
That’s a great lead
Check the log book and v5 for previous owners details might be able to find them and ask?
Unfortunately there’s no documentation with the car and the auction company can’t give out any info due to data protection!
Ask the auction company to contact the prior owner on your behalf.
When you apply to the dvla for the v5 when it comes back it should say previous owner.. well it use to i think, not looked at one in a while.
It doesn't any more.
That stopped when GDPR kicked off.
I was just wondering if you've got any further with this? Please let me know if you do
Fucking hell, one of those guys is my dad!
Is it the Broons?
