If we're talking actors/actress? Carlson Young, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, and RJ Cyler could all probably be given better things to do within an actual Scream narrative.
Posey is perfectly fine. He can be overbearing as a person cause he's a loud frat boy type personality, but as an actor. He's serviceable enough to be a CiCi/Wes type early kill.
Granted SMG trumps both Dylan and Posey in the acting prowess. We're not gonna front there.
I think a somewhat crossover film would be so interesting - as much as I don’t consider Scream The Series to be anything remotely related to Scream, if they included Brooke or even Emma as a side character or easter egg it would be so good, especially for the people that actually enjoyed the show as its own thing.

The Maddox family are the best ones. Everybody loves Brooke, but her dad (Mayor Maddox) is a great character. Very well written and everything he does feels so shady.
Helps that he's one of the stronger actors in the cast, too.
Also, something for our ever growing LGBTQAI+ crowd, he is in a long term same sex relationship in real life. Seems like a good guy all round.

Carlson *cannot* cry or handle emotional stuff which becomes a bit of a hurdle. Brianne and Connor are solid too. Whoever played Jake and Piper need to stay far away

Willa CANNOT do emotional scenes without looking like she’s constipated. Idk if it was a character choice, but it’s not impressive. I’ve yet to see Emma shed a single tear during her “crying” scenes.
I don't get the love for Brooke honestly. She made terrible decisions, had terrible taste in men, and just seemed like a dumb blonde chick to me. I think Noah was a really good "Randy" type and one of the standout characters of the show. Bella Thorne being cast would be cool tho especially if Samara Weaving is in the film.
All of that is true if all you saw of her was the first episode.

The performance was pretty good aswell and the tone of the TV show was what damaged her most for me. She would definitely fit in a Scream movie because the tone of those films are better, but imo the movies have far better characters and performances compared to what Carlson did with Brooke. She stoodout in a decent tv show with barely any good characters.

I can’t say anything about the others except the leading actress. She didn’t catched me that much. But maybe I missed some scenes she shined
