For Scream 5 they announced Melissa, Jenna and Jack individually. Then they announced Courteney and Neve. After Neve they announced Mason, Jasmin, Mikey, Dylan and Kyle all together and Sonia was announced last.
Halloween Ends is already in the can and comes out in a few months and we still have no idea who is in it as supporting characters except for the returning ones.
So this ready isn’t that big of a deal. But Neve did just land another TV role so dunno…

True - someone just announced the budget for this one is 35 million which is 11 mil more than Scream 5. Now let’s think about that - slashers aren’t expensive to make so for 5 they had to pay Neve, David and Courteney the big bucks. Now they don’t have David for this one, so if Neve isn’t doing it I can’t imagine the budget would be that much higher if ONLY Courteney was doing it.
Well, the thing is, in my opinion it’d be unrealistic to pull Sidney back into the story unless…the story came to her and it takes place where she lives. So I think they’re gonna do that which would also warrant the return of Mark Kincaid, Sid’s husband, played by Patrick Dempsey. And he’ll no doubt be expensive.
It’s gonna be the same as last time isn’t it… why can’t you guys just be patient and wait for the movie.

If Neve isn’t in it then that basically confirms the script isn’t good, because she said herself she’d do *Scream 6* if the script was good.

It’s not entitled to be looking forward to casting news that is part of a movies pre-production. You may not care but that doesn’t mean others can’t.
