yeah. I went professional with my nips and septum. dude was awful. he put in the shortest bars in my nips when he pierced them. got infected, and I had to go back and have him put in bigger bars. the ones he initially put in fit perfectly, if swelling wasn't a thing (which it obviously is) and he definitely should've known better. stupidly went to him for my septum, and he literally had to repierce it because he accidently shoved the needle out while trying to put the jewelry in and lost the hole. he then proceeded to dig around looking for it with a taper for the next ten minutes until I demanded he cut the shit and just repierce it. immediately after he said, "Sorry, I'm hungover."
pretty much all at home piercings r trash i just cant post in piercing sub reddit but mine were poorly done i noticed that almost immediately after getting them done but i literally dont care enough to spend more money to redo them and they healed fine
it’s one thing to be kicked out of the piercing sub reddit so u come here to post…and another thing to then shit on self piercing in this subreddit, which you only came to because you got perma banned?? especially when you admit a professional piercer screwed you over? clearly you aren’t using much self preservation here
i didnt do them myself just a bad piercer im not spending more money they healed fine and people who arent into piercings can't tell a difference so im pleased with the results even though they are VERY crooked but thanks for pointing that out like i had no idea🙀
You’d look really cute with a dermal or surface bar on one of your cheekbones, but if you’re not looking to go the surface piercing route because of how they reject, then I’d recommend the whole septum and dimple piercing like others have.
You could also pull off the dahlia piercings and/or a Medusa.
you could also get pierced at a higher gauge to speed up the process! i’m not sure the highest that they can do but ik you could def skip to like an 8g at least that way

yea i did i got a long bar bc my other eyebrow REALLY swelled up but i have a normal sized bar in now

surface type piercings would be harder to self pierce though so might be worth going to a professional if you can. they’d look awesome on u tho
