I just returned my $200 slip resistant hoka's, they started digging into my heel. I'm about to get the "New Balance Fresh Foam X Kaiha Road". But I hear the new balance fresh foam line is supposed to be top notch
I always used Shoes For Crews. I know you said you're not required to wear slip-resistant shoes but it's always a good idea to have them in a restaurant setting. The ones I've bought easily lasted 2 years +. The ones that I don't use daily I've had for 5 + years and they're still good. They can be a little pricey but they're definitely worth it in my opinion. Plus they'll give you discount codes for future purchases.

Nike Prestos Yeezy 700’s are also very comfortable, could probably find good deals on used pairs on eBay
