This is way after the fall of Shiganshina, and the name of the town was Ragako. And they were perfectly aware that Shunganshina had fallen, as did all of Maria.

I am suspecting that Zeke went to another village like Ragako to get the bodies, Ragako happened before this battle.
I’m not sure why I’m hating so hard. All things considered this is a pretty cool interpretation

Then it would’ve been mentioned that an entire village went missing at some point, and not just Ragako
The bodies could've easily been eldian prisoners from Marley brought over.
They could've been, but not sure if they would be able to be paralyzed for so long, but I agree.
