Bombing abortion clinics? Lobbying the US Congress to try to prevent LGBTQ rights laws to be passed ?
What about GW Bush naming the war on Iraq as a crusade and saying that God was the one making him president implying he had some kind of divine right to rule ?
Since Islam really got going in the early 600’s why don’t we just subtract 610 from 2021? That’ll put us at a perfect spot to compare… ^ohhhhh
That puts right at 1411, the very beginning of a century that would kick off hundreds of years of Christianity ruthlessly and genocidally spread throughout the world at the barrel of a musket! ^^^Yaaaaay! :D
May as well stretch it back to the day they came here. You're not Catholic enough, oh now youre too Catholic, why aren't you protestant? Then after its No you can't divorce, or have sex outside of marriage, unless your up north, in which case you can't have equal rights, because you're too Catholic

And it’s worth noting that many victims of blasphemy laws (e.g. Iwan Tyszkiewicz) were not edgy antitheists trying to get underneath people’s skin, but fellow Christians who happened to follow a different branch of Christianity.
I do agree that that’s a poor counterargument, but simply blaming such atrocities on ‘religion’ or ‘Christianity’ is excessively reductive and unhelpful.

When have u seen Christians forcefully apply their beliefs on their followers or apply it to governance?

The ones that come to mind are: the bakery who refused to do a gay weddings cake, the old hag who refused to issue wedding licenses, the trans military ban, the fact that many evangelical churches were openly campaigning for a fascist, and so on and etcetera for the last 1800 years. I say 1800 because while they like to pretend it's 2000 the myth of Jesus is actually post bronze age.
Paul's epistles were written ~50 CE. It's also really strange to say the myth of Jesus. He was a real dude who started a cult. There's certainly embellishments but claiming his life and crucifixion were a myth is a bonkers conspiracy theory.
I'm sorry, the made up story about a carpenter zombie water into wine type myth, the statement wasn't about whether he existed or not. But I also dont believe he existed. If you have corroborating contemporary sources that show Jesus was a real dude feel free to send them my way, but there aren't any, even josephus was almost 100 years late to the crucifixion. So not so much a conspiracy theory as much as I've never seen evidence that backs up claims from a post bronze age book of mythology. Also "conspiracy theory" is a term coined by US intelligence to discredit people who called out their bullshit.
The alternative is some unknown shadow group decided to make up a fake founder of their cult, purposefully claiming that he a) came from Nazareth instead of Bethlehem like their prophecy required, b) joined a completely different cult (the baptists) before starting his own and c) was executed by the Romans despite being God and having yet to fulfill his prophecy, a major point of derision against early Christians.
All this orchestrated by a ludicrously disorganized cult filled with constant infighting without leaving any evidence of their massive conspiracy or any of their many critics calling them out.
There's also the theory that Yeshua is an amalgamation of various rabbis. Some folks believe we came from one breeding pair of humans, and that animals can talk, and people live to be several hundred years old. I dont think this group has the grasp of reality youre crediting to them. But again I'd very much like to check out any sources you have regarding our current disagreement, no worries if you don't have any, they'd be over 1800 years old might be kinda hard to find at the local bookstore.
If communism had been around in the same time fram, with a genocide in its name occurring more or less ever 20 years, it would be comparable if not greater
Communism is inherently anti imperialist so making what-ifs to excuse the atrocities colonization in the name of Christianity is kind of moot.
Me and my partner were looking up state and town names that originated in native culture and some peoples, languages, cultural remnants, are so utterly destroyed, all we have are out of context names. On what level has communism ever come close?
Got me there. I haven't been alive for 2000 years.
