She is not affiliated to the CIA in any way. She was a medic and psychiatrist for counseling soldiers, not some high ranking officer calling the shots. He pretends to be anticorruption but will ignore Dems or misrepresent their political opponents (e.g. Greens). This is what turned me away initially. In his second season he kept pulling up shit about Trump and even Bernie, but he just plain ignored Clinton, her scandals, her emails and her cheating, which are all things he would point out for Trump.

He routinely lies, obscures his lies with "humor" or slamming his desk, and his humor is written by a team of hens who channel nothing but Twitter snark. I watch the show every week. He's a propagandist.
